Oh. Most definitely. With this,

Owens and his SEAL commandos set out in the dark of night. Planning for the Yemen raid began last year during the Obama administration, but the execution was tabled because it was decided it would be better to launch the operation on a moonless night, which wouldn’t occur until after President Trump took office Jan. 20.

He does an extreme disservice to his son and to his life's choice. Would this father shaken the Muslim Obama's hand - the one that instigated the action and deployment that was later delayed.

Overall, his actions toward President were highly counter-motivated and ulterior to say the least. He doesn't deserve to speak for his heroic son, in my opinion. He should be ashamed.

If his fallen son were here to hear what his father is saying, he’d be ashamed to be his son! With RATs, grief is just another political tool to use against the Republicans. No one is prepared to loose a child no matter what his or her age, but blaming his death on the President, who was, in all probability, acting on wheels that were set in motion for the raid by his predecessor.

Nearly 3,000 U.S. servicemembers killed in action during Obama...and not ONE damn story like this one. The media is despicable beyond belief, as is John McCain

Bullseye.
Bears repeating.

“Afterward, McCain characterized the mission as a failure”
Why would McCain say this? Even if he felt that way - what sort of message does this send to the family and friends of the soldier? It says that his death was in vain and meant nothing. What a horrible thing to say. McCain threw salt in very wounded hearts motivated by his own resentments. Shame on him!

Seems like the “answers” Sir, might come from those who exposed this raid to the killers of your beloved son

WADR, may I suggest you get your “Answers” from these traitors and lay off the President who isn’t the one who leaked the operation to the enemy

Drop the obvious partisanship if you wish to know the “answers” and you will be more likely to find them

The Bay of Pigs was a failure.

The ANZAC mission in Gallipoli was a failure.

Failures happen in war-—and sometimes on a large scale.

‘Forward, the Light Brigade!’
Was there a man dismay’d ?
Not tho’ the soldier knew
Some one had blunder’d:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do & die,
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred. -

yes it does. if he doesn’t want the death of his son politicized, why is he starting to politicize it?

Stages of grief, DABDA.

Denial

Anger....That’s where the father is at.

Bargaining....In a post-death review, this is not “how do I bargain to prevent it”, but more “What happened that could have prevented it?”

Coupling both emotional anger and an emotional review of the events, the father is having serious difficulty getting past this. He probably never will.

The media, McCain, the terrorist access to propaganda channels, the possible compromise of the mission, and the early questioning of the mission ALL say that the father will never get over this.

My sense as a chaplain is that every member of our military knows that one result of their joining is that their life could be the result. Some units, and especially the Seals, require warriors who fully realize the danger...whether their families do or not.

I can’t think of one thing more disrespectful of his sons sacrifice than what he( the father ) is doing. He is a trouble maker and axe grinder.

The father is grieving - and probably still in shock.

He may regret his action later.

That father needs to keep his “questioning” to himself.

Khan. Unfortunate, but does seem to be an agenda at play here. I would like an investigation to see if the details of this raid were leaked - lots of leaks in WH and not from the Trump administration.

I am still remembering the 3 muslim IT guys - brothers - who had access to sensitive information. Is it connected? This raid was certainly set up before President Trump took office.

I say, investigate.

Maybe McCain’s contacts. However, it seems the enemy has infiltrated our sensitive agencies including those within The House of Representatives; i.e. - the three Muslims doing IE work for Democrats in the intelligence committees. There are several possibilities, all of whom are connected with Democrats/Obama/Clinton. And that is NOT fake news!!

But, was this mission a failure or did he mean there were fatalities involved? From what I recall, the mission was to obtain intelligence and I believe they did. However, ‘they’ seemed ready and prepared for our Seals.

So, I’m just wondering if the mission really was a failure or did he McCain mean ‘successful yet deadly’.
