President Trump made an unannounced trip Saturday evening from the White House down Pennsylvania Avenue to Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.
According to press pool reports, the president is dining at the hotel, though an administration official would not say who he is dining with. Trump's public schedule had no events planned for the day.
Photos and video posted to social media appear to show Trump with his daughter Ivanka Trump and being cheered by onlookers as he walks through the hotel.
Independent Review Journal's Benny Johnson tweeted that after the Secret Service swarmed the place, Trump sat down to eat with Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, Florida Gov. Rick Scott (who had lunch with Trump earlier) and former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage. Johnson added that Farage was not invited, but arrived last minute, and that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was dining with his wife across the room.

Geez, which bathroom did he use? This is incomplete reporting!!! So when he goes to dinner, it makes news?
Yeh, I’m less than thrilled with Ivanka and Kushner bending the agenda. We should be totally out of the Paris accord.
He sacrificed for us. We must not forget.
“Doesnt a lot of that information come from unnamed sources?”
Some yes but not all. They acknowledged she brought in Gore and DiCrapio and she was there at the Carbon Tax push. It seems like whenever we read Trump is going left on something Ivanka is involved.
Interesting...
So, are the media in meltdown mode, that Trump would go out to dinner, and not inform them ahead of time???
And will they be true to their liberalism, and be outraged that he goes to his own hotel for dinner, and beat him up about how he has a hotel and all that, and what about the poor people he exploits in his business, etc. etc?????
OMG...this is blatant violation of “restaurant and state”...impeachment begins in 48 hours
It’s good to see him feel so at ease with the President and his family. Brothers in arms.
Good point.
All it takes is one mole with the WH router password, then anyone with a cellphone near the WH, or a guest etc. is a potential leaker.
Replace routers, have a trusted admin enter PWs into machines as needed.
This is definitely a violation of the Emoluments Clause.
POTUS’s often go out to eat on an OTR (off the record) move.
I remember hearing when new VPOTUS Dan Quayle slipped the leash and was seen at the McDonalds about a block away from the White House. Secret Service (or other security people) eating there were in contact and soon an onslaught of USSS arrived.
Or machines with embedded code to monitor activity or even transmit. Even if the President doesn't use email, everyone else does, even his closest advisors.
I mean go ahead and color me a conspiracy nut but why else would Obama replace all the PCs in the WH and upgrade Internet connection? Sure the hell wasn't to help President Trump.
Good point.
Ivanka’s political activism and using access to her daddy to peddle her liberal, UNCONSTITUTIONAL ideas to be extremely nauseating. I wish she had stayed in NY to run the Trump organization! She is DJT’s Achilles heel.
>>They left out that he made a profit off of himself, did not tip, and signed the check HITLER

OK, that’s funny right there. Thanks.
I agree—Ivanka, especially, is a major issue. We all gagged with the Clinton talk of a two-for-one presidency from the Clintons. But at least Hillary was copacetic with the philosophy of her husband and the voters who put him in office.
Ivanka is a screaming leftist, trying to muck up her father’s agenda (e.g., tax cuts) with her ill-informed leftist vision (e.g., a half-trillion entitlement to pay the private childcare for parents earning up to $500k per year) that could undercut the good Trump needs to do soon.
Yep, I’d rather Ivanka and Jared in NY, running their businesses, and Don and Eric in DC, keeping Dad company and acting as a trusted sounding board.
And none of them should be brought in on major staff or diplomatic meetings, or leading meetings and initiatives in the WH.
Why should Trump get permission from the media to have lunch.
Their job is to witness events not control them.
That’s some good looking . . .
Beef on that plate to the right. Even with the poor quality photo.
I’d hit that.
