A former spokesman for the Department of Justice says that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus must resign in the wake of revelations that he had called the FBI to ask them to publicly deny a story about the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russian intelligence officials.
Appearing on Chris Hayes’s show on MSNBC, ex-DOJ spokesman Matthew Miller said that anyone in the Obama administration would have been fired instantly for doing anything close to what Priebus did.

0 would have done “an internal review” which always would exonerate anyone of anything bad, and name drop the agencies that supposedly agreed with them, while blocking those agencies from countering this “official” White House position.

Pretty much what happened. John Roberts on Fox last hour gave the timeline. FBI called the White House (or Preibus) and told them that the leaked media stories about Trump advisor's connections with the Russians were false. Preibus called the FBI back and asked the FBI to go public with the information. The FBI said they couldn't but said it could come out if asked during upcoming testimony to Congress.
Fake, made up, not even funny claim. Investigate this guy.
The other version said the FBI called Rinse.
The Dems/Libs are trying to pick off Trump’s inner circle one by one. This must end. Any time the Libs do this, Trump needs to back the latest victim up and visually so, until the enemy figures out this latest dirty tactic of theirs, making up a fake story and then choosing the Trump staff member to get rid of based on their fake story, won’t work anymore.

The FBI calls Priebus and tells him that they cannot confirm any of the stories and allegations of Russian tampering with the election. Reince asks them if he can go public and tell this info to the press, or have the FBI come forward and lay out their conclusions which means denying the stories. Then someone in the FBI tells CNN about the meeting, and the headline is NOT that the FBI finds no truth in the allegations, but that Trump officials are attempting to tell the FBI to lie to the public and stop stories. You really cannot make this up.
