Head of Durham University Law School Professor Thom Brooks has told a Commons inquiry that people found guilty of committing ‘hate crimes’ should be put on an official register. A professor of law and government at the university, Brooks advised that a ‘Hate Crime Offenders Register’ would work in a similar fashion to the sex offenders register, putting restrictions on what jobs people who are listed are allowed to do.
Such an approach would send a “clear signal” about the severity of such offences, the professor argued in a written submission to the Commons Home Affairs Committee, which is holding an inquiry into hate crime and its consequences.
He said: “Given increasing concerns about hate crimes, there may be scope for Parliament to consider establishing a Hate Crime Offenders Register along the lines of the Sex Offenders Register – and to similar effect.

Who defines a “hate crime”?
I can see where this is going. Like “hate crimes” today, it would only apply to white males.
I’ll bet this top academic supports the unrestricted flow of illegal aliens some of who commit “hate” crimes.

How about making them wear a scarlet letter? Why should a crime motivated by bias be treated any more serious than the same crime motivated by any other motivation? The victim in each suffers just as much and bleeds just as red.

I think we should have “University Law School Professor” register that clearly identifies where each of these elites live, work and play. They need to start feeling they can be held at least some way responsible for the evil that they endorse. Getting home safely at night should be #1 on their priority list.
