Wash. governor orders agencies to ignore immigration requests
The Hill ^ | 2-23-2017 | Reid Wilson

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) on Thursday signed an executive order blocking state law enforcement agencies from detaining undocumented immigrants at the request of federal officials, days after the Trump administration began ramping up immigration enforcement actions.   Inslee’s order prevents state agencies from discriminating against or refusing service to those in living the country illegally. It also blocks those agencies from spending state resources to create or enforce a registry of citizens on the basis of religious affiliation.   The order blocks the Washington State Patrol and the state Department of Corrections from detaining anyone solely on the basis of immigration status.   “This executive order makes clear that Washington will not be a willing participant in promoting or carrying out mean-spirited policies that break up families and compromise our national security and, importantly, our community safety,” Inslee said at a press conference Thursday.

“This executive order makes clear that Washington will not be a willing participant in promoting or carrying out mean-spirited policies that break up families and compromise our national security and, importantly, our community safety,”

So Washington State will no longer imprison single parents? Or both parents?

(And no idea WTH he's talking about on national security and community safety somehow being put at risk if we deport those who break our immigration laws, and then break WA laws, so that the detention decision arises.)

You just KNOW that there's going to be a terror attack in Washington state, now.

I believe the next of kin should have "next of kin rights" with the governor...

Just today Washington State experienced a 4.2 earthquake.

There shouldn’t be much damage, but do you think Inslee would miss a chance to grab federal dollars?

If he does, he should be told to kiss off.

Village idiot turned failed and cowardly congress-critter (voted for O-don’t-care in 2009, resigned prior to 2010 mid-terms so as not to get totally smoked, and maintain political viability) strikes again. Trying to out-Malloy a failed Dem presidential candidate.

I see nothing in the Washington State Constitution granting him that ability. I doubt that any State law has granted him the power to pardon illegal aliens (felons, by their own act of illegally entering this country) under Article III, Section 9.

I guess We The People by extension are able to nullify and refuse to cooperate with any State-level laws that contravene, impair, or otherwise abridge our Rights. Specifically the Right to defend one’s self.

Seems to have missed the point that illegal aliens are de facto NOT Washingtonians.

Recall that part of the President’s EO is to publicize crimes committed by illegals not detained by local law enforcement.

Put the heat on business in these emerging sanctuary states by audits and raids.

Audit Medicaid and DFACS offices.

Station ICE officers at each and every jail.

The problem is that the Washington State Supreme Court is completely dominated by liberals. They rule any way they want by leaving any contradictory facts out of their rulings. It is truly despicable, but the State Supreme Court can be counted on to support any part of the liberal agenda or any liberal politician like our law breaking governor.

WA State has recall:

Initiating proceedings—Statement—Contents—Verification—Definitions.
Whenever any legal voter of the state or of any political subdivision thereof, either individually or on behalf of an organization, desires to demand the recall and discharge of any elective public officer of the state or of such political subdivision, as the case may be, under the provisions of sections 33 and 34 of Article 1 of the Constitution, the voter shall prepare a typewritten charge, reciting that such officer, naming him or her and giving the title of the office, has committed an act or acts of malfeasance, or an act or acts of misfeasance while in office, or has violated the oath of office, or has been guilty of any two or more of the acts specified in the Constitution as grounds for recall. The charge shall state the act or acts complained of in concise language, give a detailed description including the approximate date, location, and nature of each act complained of, be signed by the person or persons making the charge, give their respective post office addresses, and be verified under oath that the person or persons believe the charge or charges to be true and have knowledge of the alleged facts upon which the stated grounds for recall are based.

Grounds for recall:
(1) “Misfeasance” or “malfeasance” in office means any wrongful conduct that affects, interrupts, or interferes with the performance of official duty;
(2) “Violation of the oath of office” means the neglect or knowing failure by an elective public officer to perform faithfully a duty imposed by law.

i keep telling people, time to re-institute Reconstruction. Let these b@$+@rd$ see how much the Southern States enjoyed it from 1866-1877 as well as the 1960's when Kennedy federalised the National Guard in all 50 states and sent in the Regular Army to enforce Desegregation (which was unconstitutional since that power is reserved to Congress). These same b@$+@rd$ probably cheered those decisions. Won't be too happy when it's their turn to be on the business end of oppression.

Don't like a state government's policy? Remove the Government and replace it.

Having problems with a State Court? Replace it, all through federal government fiat.

i will enjoy the taste of their tears in my beer when they're hoist on their own petard.

This is pretty easy to resolve. President Donald J. Trump issues and executive order canceling all existing and future grants going to anyone in the state of Washington. 10s of Billions of state and local funds go poof and the states are deep in the red. State employees freak out and force the state to resume normal operations.

What’s going to be harder is when they resist without formally saying that they are resisting. Congress will have to pass some laws with teeth to deal with that problem.

I say send federal agents to the governor’s office in Olympia.

Have the agents ask him, “Are you Jay Inslee?”

When the “governor” says “Yes,” the federal agents say, “You’re under arrest!” Then haul him off in handcuffs.

Both Inslee and Malloy are liberal extremists and are willing to take their states down to prove it.

Time for the US Government to start cutting off all funding to the state other than that needed for national defense.
Seattle is a drug shithole so let the state pay for the needles, drugs, rehab. center, housing, food, etc.

The same for Hartford, Conn and other once great cities that are ravaged by crime, some, if not a lot by illegals.

It is time that the American taxpayer STOP PAYING for the Marxist, anti-law nutjobs running these states and cities. Let them tax the crap out of their own citizens if they want to “feed the world” and support a policy of “Criminal Lives Matter”. It will be their own people they have to bury.

The elections in 2018 are going to be more important than anyone knows and we have got to organize to destroy the Left everywhere we can.

Do unto them before they do it to you. ORGANIZE TO SAVE AMERICA, NOW!

Add the Social Security offices. Last visit here in Phoenix, the place was packed ...with illegals at an average age of about 30-35. Many babies. All instructions over the loud speaker given in both English and Spanish. Those over 65 (i.e. people who paid into Social Security all of their adult lives), were maybe 15%.

Perhaps Trump should ban salmon fishing or transport of apples, or other major industry in the State of WA.
