Trump Administration To Rewrite Obama's Transgender Rule (REVERSED!)

Justice Department officials plan to issue new guidance on protections for transgender students that will effectively reverse Obama-era recommendations and ensure those issues are decided at the state level going forward.

"That's an issue that the Department of Justice the Department of Education are addressing, and I think there will be further guidance coming from [Justice Department] in particular, with respect to not just the executive order but the case that's in front of the Supreme Court," White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday.

The Supreme Court is slated to hear oral arguments late next month on a case involving a transgender teen from Virginia who sued the local school board for the right to use the men's bathroom on campus despite being born a female. The debate over transgender "bathroom bills" gained increasing attention late last year after the Obama administration sent guidance to public schools saying they should allow transgender students to use whichever bathroom matches their gender identity.

"The president has maintained for a long time that this is a state's right issue and not one for the federal government," Spicer said when asked for Trump's position on the hot-button issue. "So while there will be further guidance coming out this, I think that all you need to do is look at what the president's view has been for a long time."

The Trump administration decided last week not to mount a legal challenge against a nationwide injunction that has blocked schools from letting transgender students use bathrooms that do not correspond with their biological sex.

During the campaign, Trump himself called the controversial North Carolina bathroom bill "very strong" and suggested he would allow transgender individuals to use either restroom while visiting his skyscraper on Fifth Avenue.

Bet you won't see philosophy like this taught in any universities with transgender bathrooms anymore:

1. The Law of Identity - A is A Everything is the same as itself; or a statement cannot not remain the same and change its truth value.

2. The Law of Non-Contradiction - NOT (A and not A) Nothing can both exist and not exist at the same time and in the same respect; or no statement is both true and false.

3. The Law of Excluded Middle - Either (A or not A) Something either exists or does not exist; or every statement is either true or false.

These are given not just as nice rules of thumb to follow or ways that one should think. Aristotle identified these as necessary conditions for thought. People sometimes try to produce counter examples to these Laws by pointing out how statements can become true or false depending on the conditions; e.g. "It is raining" might be true now, but was false yesterday" or "it is half way between raining and not-raining." But these attempts always involve changing the reference of the statement. Once we get the reference of the statement clear and explicit, it does not seem possible for a statement to make sense and vioate these laws.

watch the meltdown now. The left will say he is taking rights away, but those so called rights were never given by the Constitution, and only by obama who thought he was God.

No rights were taken away as there were no right sin the firs place for cross dressers.

Patriots are reminded that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to address politically correct LGBT issues.

Unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, who brought Obama into the political scene, is involved deeply in education.

He and his anti-American ilk are responsible for common core and many other anti-American issues concerning the education of our children

FLASHBACK:

A Cruz ad said Trump thinks "a grown man pretending to be a woman (should) be allowed to use the women's restroom."

There's a grain of truth in this claim, but the overall message is highly distorted to scare voters.

Trump did say he'd be fine with letting Caitlyn Jenner, a transgender women, use the bathroom of her choice in Trump Tower rather than the bathroom that corresponds to the sex on Jenner's birth certificate. But Trump did not say he supports a man "pretending to be a woman" using a woman's restroom.

Trump talked about how bathroom laws that allow people to use the bathroom of their choice are not a problem and bemoaned the business backlash that hit North Carolina with a state law that said people have to use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender at birth. The state would have been better off leaving it alone, he argued, but as president he would not want the federal government to be involved.

Doing nothing about a local government's decision is not an endorsement. We rate Cruz’s claim Mostly False.

'If Donald Trump dresses up as Hillary Clinton, he still can't go to the girl's bathroom." - Ted Cruz

Such a nasty guy. That's why Cruz will never be President.

The bathroom bill is front and center in the Texas Legislature this session. Being pushed by people from Houston because they think the decision to have another Super Bowl in their city hinges on it being rejected. Texas’ bill is a watered down version of the one passed in Carolina earlier this year. Hope Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is successful in getting this first step passed.

I’m hoping there will be! I’m hoping that he has set a new precedent for President. Maybe others will follow in his footsteps and learn that straight talk is good, that putting Americans first is good, that removing corruption from government is good.

I’m hoping we’re just getting started. 8 years of Trump, then 8 years of another conservative who loves America. Pence?

I, too, would like to see that happen. But that alone will not be much of a speed bump for Soros. He operates at many levels. IMO, one reason that the democrats were able to steal so many elections was the Soros/Dem-controlled state level operatives. I think that many state AGs and election officials have been owned by the libs.

Love the juxtaposition of Reagan and Trump.

One last thing...

One is named Ronald and the other Donald! :)
