White House Deputy Chief of Staff and #NeverTrump Republican Katie Walsh has been identified as the source behind a bunch of leaks from the Trump administration to The New York Times and other media outlets, according to multiple sources in the White House, media, donor community, and pro-Trump 501(c)4 political group.
“Everyone knows not to talk to her in the White House unless you want to see it in the press,” says a source close to the president. “The only question is whether or not she’s doing it at the behest of [White House Chief of Staff] Reince Priebus or if she’s doing it to advance herself in DC media circles.”
One source in particular stands out: Walsh is close to Maggie Habberman, a New York Times reporter who wrote fawning pro-Republican National Committee stories during the presidential election. Walsh has also planted stories in The Washington Post and Politico.
Walsh is referred to as “Madame President” in the White House, says a senior aide. “It isn’t a compliment.”
Walsh would have significant access as she controls the president’s schedule. There’s also reportedly a trove of e-mails where Katie Walsh and Reince Priebus discuss how to rid themselves of Trump, according to a former #NeverTrump consultant.
“The president and his allies have been deliberately feeding her fake information in order to find her network,” says a source close to the president’s family. “It’s been going well.”
Walsh was a #NeverTrump Republican during the campaign. Neither Walsh nor her family were supporters during the campaign, says a source from Walsh’s hometown of St. Louis.
A White House investigation is planned into Walsh, who couldn’t be reached for comment.

Personally I don’t think Trump will get any more from Ryan and McConnell with than without them. What else would Pence be for? I hope Pence isn’t holding Trump hostage at some level.
Only sometimes is blackmail needed, but they have it on most of them.

I didn’t say I don’t like what he says. But his demeanor & weird facial tics makes him look like a nut, IMO, as does Alex Jones, his promoter.

I am not saying this is true or not true. But it would not surprise me if it turned out to be true.I do know that the Republican Establishment, Elites, or GOPe or whatever else they are referred to as, hate Donald and they are a bunch of backstabbing lying bastards. And if she has “leaked” anything that is a violation of the law, she needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of said law. But, that is just one man’s opinion.

In conversations with people, I point out that Trump was successful in New York, in real estate. He has had to deal with cutthroat bankers, dishonest lawyers, backstabbing politicians, asshole Union leaders, organized crime thugs, and any number of surprise landmine situations, and still, he succeeded. He has learned a lot about employee motivations and loyalty, and he knows that some will fail him. He knows how to smoke them out, because he knows the consequences of assuming everything is ok, and everyone is on the same page.
What the enemedia and their snowflake allies are starting to understand is that when they punch, President Trump punches back. They aren't accustomed to having black eyes, split lips, lost teeth, and the taste of their own blood.
I would agree. But in President Trump’s administration, if the enemedia has a blackmail card on someone, it must be used only in an extreme situation, and after that it becomes pretty worthless. As others have pointed out, not only is President Trump smoking out the leakers, he is finding out who they gave the information to, and THAT might result is the successful prosecution of members of the enemedia!
