It’s not a secret that many people in America were able to slack off and not put in any effort when Obama was in the White House, but that’s all over now.
Ajit Pai is the new chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and he is telling these lazy Americans that enough is enough. Pai is going to be cutting fraud out of the abused Obamaphone program. The liberals, like this woman, are sure to lose their minds.

Fraud was a beast that ran wild in Obama’s America. Welfare, food stamps, and healthcare were vastly overdrawn and taken advantage of by those who refused to get a job and go out and pay for the things they needed.
This has pushed our economy into the gutter and burdened our taxpayers, but with Trump as president and with a Republican dominated government, that is no longer acceptable.
The Obamaphone, for those who don’t know, was a program that gave free phones to Americans with low incomes.
This makes a lot of sense — phones are a necessary part of our society to receive calls for job interviews and in the case of emergencies, especially since pay phones have all but vanished. It was supposed to be a great boost up for people who are out of work, not a permanent free phone.
But the problem with this program, like many Obama programs, was that it was sloppy. Too many people were able to cheat the system, costing the government and taxpayers millions of dollars. These people in need were not getting simple flip phones but smart phones hot off the presses.
These people don’t need the latest iPhone 7 or Galaxy 8 if they can’t afford to buy it themselves. They don’t need internet access either — that is a luxury. If you need internet, go to the library. If you need to print something off, go to Staples.
Chairman Pai has decided to give the program a set budget of $1.5 billion. What a wild idea, right? These expenses should not threaten responsible use of money in the United States.
This is not the only program that was managed poorly under Obama’s administration, not even close. Obamacare, which everyone is aware of, was abused by the those who were sick or poor, who got cheap or free healthcare. But it was up to the rest of America to pay for it, and that’s why Trump is going to be repealing it.
These systems are abused too much. If you have a problem with these changes, it’s probably because you are a freeloader!

Buy flip phones in bulk and issue them. The same for food in lieu of food stamps. Make it illegal to ship food from any program or purchased with food stamps out of the country.

iPhones with 200+ free minutes. Give-away points set up throughout their neighborhoods, few questions asked or answers considered and I have read many have several. Of course, they sell off the extra phones w/their free minutes.
We also have cheap Tracphones and buy minutes as needed. Give them a free landline with no long distance.

Government cheese, powdered milk, rice, beans, ground beef and vegetable basic’s. A government store where these items can be picked up or special check outs for government items only.

That question deserves it’s own thread.
There was a time when they were run out of town. Not sure I’d take it quite that far but I can assure you they would work for assistance if I was running things. I’m not talking about elderly of those with mental or health conditions but those that are just lazy and taking advantage of the system. Clean streets, vacant lots, demolition of old abandoned structures, roadway trash pickup, work in sanitation such as separating garbage for recycling. If they’re able bodied and still refuse to work then run them out of town.
Speaking of FREE and ABUSE. Probably not many will notice and not many did notice at the time but where did all the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 money go? Nearly a TRILLION dollars of it.

In 2009 Houston, like all the rest of the country was feeling a lot of economic pain and yet Katy Freeway was full of BRAND NEW cars, mostly black with lots of chrome and driven by mostly black people. Where did this one group of people suddenly get all their money? Why were there ACORN green grocery stores that were empty in out of the way places like Crossville, Tennessee?
Nearly a TRILLION dollars gone and not much to show for it that anyone can see except a whole lot of Barky’s people did well for awhile. It will never be investigated and nothing will ever come of it. The probable theft of nearly a TRILLION dollars that at least some of us paid for.

There has to be a humane answer. After all, we asked for this with the ‘Great Society’ program that was designed to destroy any initiative the recipients once had. For instance, you don’t give someone a scholarship that can’t pass the entrance exam.
37 posts before yours to say this and this is what I am saying. A landline. We use it. I have a prepaid cell for traveling. Have no use for cells. Hate them but do use for someone who wants to text me when we sell something. Landlines and NO long distance unless THEY pay for it.
