He gets it.
Trump has the Alternate media, he broke the Mediacracy to be elected. He did what Reagan could not do.
Sounds like USA Today took Trump’s criticism to heart and actually listed a number of his early accomplishments.
“Trump has the Alternate media”
Not to take anything from Trump but Reagan got a lot done despite the fact that there was no Alternate media. l was there & it was amazing. Then the GOPe squandered it and let the Rats denigrate everything he did till it was gone.

You are correct. What Reagan did was absolutely incredible. He was able to do it, in part, because he recognized the media as the enemy.
But he was limited by not having sufficient ways to get his message out directly. If the alternate media had existed back then, Clinton would never have been elected after Bush. But of course, Bush I left much to be desired.
Donald has 3 more days before finishing his first month.
It is a fitting title.
Heard him earlier in week and he compared Trump to Truman’s “give Em Hell Donald!” Trump obliged with the press conference.

Dittos !!!!
I wasn’t around during the Reagan years... or at least I was busy making diapers dirty for the two that I was around for.
Having said that, I’ll keep my peace on who was ‘better’ than the other, but if Trump keeps up the same pace as he did over the last month, he may well earn that placement.
But of course, Bush I, {"READ MY LIPS, NO New Taxes"} left much to be desired.
That would be a "Roger-Dodger," "Over & Out!" {just a kid's (62 years old) cartoon phrase.}
"Read my lips: no new taxes" is a phrase spoken by then American presidential candidate George H. W. Bush at the 1988 Republican National Convention as he accepted the nomination on August 18.
I was there. Election 1980....that day standing in line, among so, so many others, was electrifying! Everyone excited because we KNEW! We knew what was coming that night.
It took 36 years of pretty much gloom to get that same feeling again. That night this past November, I and millions of other Americans had that feeling again!
And in viewing Trump’s press conference, he wasn’t standing there alone against the press; he had 60+ Million of us at home cheering and validating everything he said. He’s not going to give up, he’s not going to stop, and he’s not going to shy away from a fight. It is what we direly need.
Maybe the biggest and most far reaching (and decades overdue) thing he has accomplished, which is ironically getting very little play amidst all the noise about nonsense, is that he and Tillerson just cleaned out the 7th floor at the State Dept.
