TRUE. She didn’t give it away. She sold it for personal profit for $150 million dollars!!
Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal
It’s not false ...what she gave them was 20% of Uranium production in the US...it’s true, Politifact is using a play on words to say it’s false.
“PolitiFact pointed out that 20 percent of uranium capacity is different from 20 percent of existing uranium. Moreover, the State Department was one of nine government agencies that had to sign off on the deals. Other federal and state regulators also had to approve them.”
And we don’t have documentation of bribery for the other eight sign-offs, so the one case where we can see bribery does not count.
As an aside, I wonder how much the uranium deal’s details on rights to explore for domestic uranium impacts the events like Bundy Ranch and the plans to survey near the Grand Canyon?
” .... and the Obama administration was still trying to reset relations with Moscow at the time, ......

Fail.
Once again, President Trump has stated false information in order to play the media into reporting real news instead of fake news. In today’s press conference, President Trump stated, “We had Hillary Clinton give Russia 20 percent of the uranium in our country.” Eager to prove him wrong, CNBC corrected President Trump by saying Hillary did not give Russia 20% of US uranium; instead, she gave Russia 20% of US uranium production capacity. Oops.
From CNBC:
President Donald Trump repeated an incorrect claim on Thursday that Hillary Clinton gave Russia 20 percent of the United States’ uranium while serving as secretary of State.
The fact-checking website PolitiFact has determined that statement, which Trump first made on the campaign trail, is mostly false.
“We had Hillary Clinton give Russia 20 percent of the uranium in our country. You know what uranium is, right? It’s a thing called nuclear weapons and other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium, including some bad things,” Trump said during a press conference.
The claim isn’t true. Between 2009 and 2013, Russia’s atomic energy agency, Rosatom, purchased a majority stake in a Canadian company called Uranium One, The New York Times reported in 2015. The Toronto-based firm’s mining assets in Wyoming, Utah and elsewhere in the United States account for about 20 percent of U.S. uranium production capacity, according to the Times.

President Trump just masterfully trolled CNBC into revealing some damaging info against Hillary
He gave false information to make the ‘very fake media’ fact check on it, therefore just proved that Hillary gave away 20% of ALL uranium to Russia...
See how that works???
WOW, what a way to respond to being called FAKE NEWS, By Publishing even More FAKE NEWS that is Easily Debunked and Provable FALSE!
It’s actually true, she was in charge when we gave away 20% of our production - they can nit pick, but a fact is a fact.
Clearly false and fake. Hillary got paid, well paid, for it. She did not give it away.
She facilitated the sale for a fee.
Traitor!
She didn’t GIVE the uranuium to them.
She just scammed millions of dollars from them before they were permitted to purchase the company that already owned the rights.
Various people associated with the deal contributed over $100 millon US dollars to the Clinton Foundation before the US government approved the sale of the mining assets.
The mining company “Uranium One” already owned the mining rights for an estimated 20% of US reserves.
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, sat on the board of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) that approved the sale of the assets to Russias nuclear agency, Rosatom.
Like other Clinton scams and criminal acts she managed to cloud the actual transaction and make it less than a straight forward quid pro quo to give it a certain amount of deniability.
I am a retired uranium exploration geologist with experience in Wyoming’s rich Powder River Basin province and in South Texas.
Let me point out that he “20% of production” and the “20% of reserves” is probably not much different in some ways. That’s because what is being produced is ore from the reserves that is practical to produce. There is lots of uranium around, it’s more common than you might think. It’s just that almost all of it is found in very low grade disseminated deposits. What the Russians “bought” [’bought off’ might be a better term] from Hillary was 20% of the ‘good stuff.’
It is NOT mostly false... Cash to Clinton Uranium to Russia....
Twenty percent of uranium capacity vs twenty percent of existimg uranium...uhm...either could be charcterized as twenty percent of our uranuim...depending on if he meant our uranium capacity or our exiting uranium by saying “our uranium”.
Key quote:
a New York Times report...last spring...discussed the key roles apparently played by both the Clinton Foundation and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Russia's successful acquisition of 20 percent of United States uranium reserves.
In a piece entitled, "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal" (or, in the print version, "The Clintons, The Russians, and Uranium"), the Times wrote of events that "brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain"....
Tom DiChristopher can cram it.
amazing...back at the time this was initially reported, almost everybody and their brother was reporting 20% of U.S. uranium. Hardly anybody reported that it was a Canadian firm doing the mining.
Just recently, Russia sold huge amounts of uranium to Iran.
I wonder where it came from...
From the NYT article:
“The deal was strategically important to Mr. Putin, who shortly after the Americans gave their blessing sat down for a staged interview with Rosatoms chief executive, Sergei Kiriyenko. Few could have imagined in the past that we would own 20 percent of U.S. reserves, Mr. Kiriyenko told Mr. Putin.”
But the candidate who actually won is a puppet of Moscow... sure...
