Missed the rally but I’m loving our Trump Family thread like old times. On my way to the wine store tonight, I passed several nail salons where CNN was on the TVs and to my delight there was the rally and our lovely First Lady. I got all teared up just seeing her there...just watched her intro on line and when I heard her prayer I cried.

I’d like to know a positive aspect of not being able to get to work on our nation’s business.
While it may be a good ploy to see some foot dragging in the early weeks, we’re going into what will be nearly six weeks shortly.
I don’t believe they’ll be back in session until the 27th of February. That will be 5.5 weeks since Trump was inaugurated.
Add to this the issue of McCain shooting his mouth off without any push-back from McConnell whatsoever, and you begin to see him as a big part of the problem.
Surely he could have scheduled hearings and had Trump’s cabinet in place by now.
Of course that’s accepting of the one’s Trump is having to replace.

My gut feeling is the Trump’s secret service will be having a small talk to Trump about the incident of asking that guy onto the stage. If he asks some one to come onto a stage again like that he needs to vet it to the secret service before hand so they can double frisk him before he comes onto the stage. Trump needs to take the security risks more seriously, now after saying all that, I suspect the incident was not at the spur of the moment, but might have been staged a little bit and planned in advance a little bit, and made to appear like it was a spur in the moment event, but you never know but if it was a spur of the moment event, he needs to get use to being President and take the security risks more seriously and not have to many events like that.

My wife has now spend more of her life in America than in Japan where she was born, so putting myself in my wife's shoes, I can appreciate (a little bit) the courage it takes to speak in a foreign tongue to 20,000 fired up Americans as she did today.
But we deplorables respect her and look up to her as their First Lady. She is accepted as an American! That is the part that makes me most proud.\
It's not just that he's President and she's First Lady. He and she are also common people just like us. They are true blue Americans, family people looking for the best for their loved ones, and able -- through the grace of God -- to summon up an incredible energy/life force and give 100% of themselves to this great cause.

Yes, and Obama wasn’t culturally black either. He grew up in an up-scale white community in Hawaii and went to east coast colleges like Columbia and Harvard. He was raised by his white grandmother who he carefully kept hidden from us.
The black culture (and experience) was simply a mask Obama wore that proved politically convenient for him.
But tear off the fascade of Obama and what you would find is Alinsky disrespect for the law, a Soros checkbook, a radical Islamic hatred of America, and the communist vision of Leon Trotsky.
