The “social contract” calls for the government, any legitimate government, to provide for the safety and peace of the citizens. That’s both at the border and within the borders. The quid quo pro is that citizens relinquish some of their God given rights to protection and revenge enforcement IF the government steps in the gap.
Gangs, revenge in the cities and the Hatfields and McCoys in the hills, all come back with a vengeance when the government fails to hold up its end of the agreement. There is no law when the rule of law comes apart. This obvious fact is lost on the leftists and the MSM.

Chicago shootings are treated as if they are a black thing and none of whitey’s business. That attitude is shared by everyone, the media, all levels of government, even the victims who don’t trust the cops while being shot by their neighbors.
Lol.. peaceful solution? In my experience, some people comprehend only in terms of.. keep it up and there will be a hundred of you, for every one of us. Gangs are in wars, so only a war plan will work. Diplomacy through demonstration of willingness to use force as a last resort and.. shall we say, final solution.
