Gun violence at a memorial service for gun violence? Only in Chicago. The city that works? Detroit 2.0!
They should have SWAT snipers covering all approaches to these events and start blowing-off the heads of anyone that flashes a gun.
Perhaps they should change that from “gun violence” to “gang violence?”

I guess that would hit too close to home, i.e. ‘the truth hurts’.
These memorials always end in shootouts. They are less memorials and more grievances.
If they hold a memorial for a gang member, other gang members are going to show up. So if you are at war with the gang, it’s like a free strike
