Great news indeed. However, I never answered that stupid Q on my forms, as per my tax attorney. He hates the IRS too so he’s my tax atty. ;)
Question: I have POA for my sister and she gets 1900/mth in alimony and pays out 2000/mth to live in asst living (she has early onset dementia at 59)...Can I deduct the cost of her monthly asst living cost from her taxes? Please help me if anyone has this answer....Thanks.
