Andrew Newman always pays his taxes, even if he hates what the government is doing with them. But not this year. For him, Donald Trump is the dealbreaker. He’ll pay his city and state taxes but will refuse to pay federal income tax as a cry of civil disobedience against the president and his new administration.
Newman is not alone. A nascent movement has been detected to revive the popularity of tax resistance – last seen en masse in America during the Vietnam war but which has been, sporadically, a tradition in the US and beyond going back many centuries.
"My tax money will be going towards putting up a wall on the Mexican border instead of helping sick people. It will contribute to the destruction of the environment and maybe more nuclear weapons. I think there will be a redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy elite and Trump’s campaign for the working man and woman was an absolute fraud. If you pay taxes you are implicated in the system,” said Newman, an associate professor of English and history at Stony Brook University on Long Island, part of the State University of New York.
“The government wants our money and if a lot of people were thinking about this kind of peaceful protest, it would get their attention,” he added.

Liberals are for higher taxes... except when they aren’t.
This guy will pay. It will just be when the IRS levies on his bank account or lines his house. And they won’t care that he doesn’t like Trump.
Just think - the Fair Tax wouldn’t give a darn about this...

Funny, I woke up this a.m, and wanted to go to my Social Security office, and have them HOLD my Social Security checks, as long as Trump is in office and doesn’t take a salary, and show my support and solidarity to the guy who is TRYING to turn the nation around. I think if I worked hard to start skimming back, and selling off my assets, I could get along without the S.S checks, and contribute a very small effort to stop the government from having to support 50% of the population.
So the liberals are now arguing that citizens can spend their money more wisely than the government?

Let’s see if the IRS will pursue these tax cheats as vigorously as they did the TEA Party members who were audited repeatedly, even though they paid their taxes in full.

Three months ago, when it looked like the NWO owned war hawk HRC would win, these same people thought higher taxes were a good idea. What a bunch of rubes.
This is a real threat to the Republic if the rule of law is not vigorously upheld here. If the Left gets away with this, even a smidgen, the dam will break. Trump must instruct the IRS to fully enforce the tax law, even if that means throwing people in jail and making martyrs of these guys.
Look what Obama did with the IRS. There is no margin for error here. Astonishingly, the Left appears hell-bent on tearing apart the Union.

The university he works at is obligated to withhold taxes.
So he is paying something. If he doesn’t file, they’ll keep what he’s paid.

Business owners who pay anywhere from $10K - over $100K a year Medical professionals - wide range depending on profession but I'm sure it's just about the same as business owners with a lower starting amoun for taxes Business pofessionals - bank / loan officers, real estate agents, investmeng specialists, consultants, etc...
