Hillary Clinton should absolutely not run for president in 2020

"Hillary Clinton should absolutely not run for president in 2020. And Democrats should stop her if she tries.

There's a purposely provocative piece in Politico magazine this week that aims to make the case that Hillary Clinton is going to run for president for a third time in 2020. Citing the scaling back of the Clinton Global Initiative and her plans to write a seventh book as evidence, Matt Latimer concludes: “Yes, barring some calamity, Clinton is running. And this brave columnist will go one step further. Not only will Clinton run again, she has an excellent shot at getting the Democratic Party nomination again.”

..."Which brings me to the second point: If Clinton showed signs that she truly is interested in running, Democrats should make very clear that they aren't interested.

Clinton ran two national campaigns. In each, she looked on paper to be a sure thing. In each, she didn't win. Why? Because there was something about her that people didn't like or trust. Her email problems in this past campaign exacerbated that problem, to be sure, but there was always an undercurrent of distrust surrounding her..."

H3ll yes. And they could mud wrestle to see who gets to be at the top of the ticket. I’d love to see a rematch to put this “but I won the popular vote” crap to rest.

She should wait until 2024 when the field will be clearer. :)

“The only possible answer is that Clinton is deeply committed to public service.”

If this guy believes that she cares about public service I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell him

It’s about power——no more,no less.

2024 will totally be Hillary's year. For sure.
She should run in 2020 as a warm-up campaign.

History is also against her. Except for Nixon, you lose the presidential election, you don’t ever get get elected president no matter how many times you run after that.

Nobody will say that Hillary is a bad candidate and a bad politician and an unlikable (fill in the blank)

So many post mortems of the campaign sought to cast blame for her loss. They blamed the Russians, James Comey, the “unfairness” of the electoral college, but never put any blame on a certain person.

And that person is Hillary herself. She’s a bad unlikeable politician. She does not inspire anyone with her hectoring lecturing speaking style. She did not gain any support by lecturing us about how we are in a basket of deplorables. What a way to make friends and influence people (sarcasm)

It really gets me, that few if any of the “talking heads” in the media, have been willing to say, that Hillary is just a bad candidate, and that this was why she lost.

Hillary may well not be alive in 2020. She is going downhill fast. Time to let a real Democrat run and not a Prog.
