NFL Warns Texas There Could Be Consequences for 'Bathroom Bill'
weekly standard citing houston chronicle ^ | 2/10/2017 | Chris Deaton

Days after the Super Bowl in Houston, the NFL is warning Texas that legislation requiring individuals to use public bathrooms in accordance with their biological sex could cost the state future opportunities to host the big game.

"If a proposal that is discriminatory or inconsistent with our values were to become law (in Texas), that would certainly be a factor considered when thinking about awarding future events," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in an email response to a Chronicle question about the bill.

Better yet, suspend their tax exempt status.

NFL
National Felons League
It is an opportunity for the most part, for inner city kids that would end up in prison get a chance to go to college and if they work very hard a chance at fame and fortune and the chance to stick their fingers in any-ones eye that does not agree with them.

Hey Roger Goodell, look between your legs and see what’s there. The NFL should stick to football, and get out of our bathrooms.

This bill, like the NC bill, would allow private businesses to decide for themselves if they want to allow men in their women’s private facilities. Target and Trump can allow men in their women’s public facilities if they want. It also mandates that state owned facilities be used per the sex on the birth certificate.

Every report I have seen leaves out the fact that private businesses can choose for themselves under this proposed law.

It says something when sports leagues like the NFL are willing to put large states like Texas under interdict. I am starting to wonder if their power in relation to civil cociety is almost at the same level as a medieval Pope over the principalities of Christendom.

No hotel workers get bonuses or raises because of these events that I know of just that the multi-billion dollar hotel chains add more to their bottom lines so what should the citizens of Texas or any state being threatened by these PC bullies care?

Good riddance and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Play all your Super Bowls in NY and California for all we care.

I gave up on the NFL this year and I gave up on college football and basketball a couple years ago. As conservatives we need to quit watching college sports and drain their revenue there. Let’s face it our colleges and universities are not supportive of our agenda and don’t deserve our support. If you don’t have a friend or family member playing it’s not that important. If you can give up the NFL and other professional sports you can also give up pseudo-amateur sports and hurt the colleges in the pocketbook.

Ratings for this years soccer game, that actually was not a snoozer the last few minutes from what I hear, were lower than the past two years Super dooper bowls.
Skarew the NFL.

Texas has fantastic high school football with over 1700 teams in public and private schools. We have great college football throughout the state. These games mean a lot more to us than those of our two NFL teams.

Liberal elitist PC tyrannical thinking, that is running many of these things, has ruined or is ruining a lot of good things in America.

A few of these things are the NFL, the NBA, Facebook, Twitter, eBay and even Amazon to name a few. I normally wouldn’t have included Amazon because Bezos built that company right. It’s just his crazy leftist views now coming out and buying a major newspaper to try to spread leftist propaganda is why I won’t use Amazon in the future.

I’m not sure if the NFL will ever get it, they’ve seem to have gone off the deep end and ratings will continue to suffer as a result.

I do not know who Brian McCarthy is, but he obviously is not Blessed with much common sense. It would be difficult to imagine a more stupid response to a news outlet.

The weird thing is, even with all the court shenanigans going on this week, liberal “causes” like this, without Obama around, are already beginning to seem antiquated and irrelevant.

Dear NFL,

If you’d like to proceed without football in Texas, let us know.

We will not be bullied into your pagan agenda.
