One of the things Americans must be prepared for is to maintain vigilance while these pocket battles with the leftist assholes is taking place.
Our military, I believe, will maintain that vigilance should North Korea or China decide to take advantage of our intermural strife.
One thing most CWII nuts don’t ever take into consideration is “friendly fire”.
There are more than enough clowns out there with short enough fuses that will start shooting their own allies without a second thought.
Sure, some people want it to happen, but without even thinking of the possibility that they’ll probably never make it to the end result.

I disagree. The progs are getting desperate, and they are already unhinged. I think they are only a couple cups of Starbucks shy of seriously letting loose, at which time we can “join the battle.” I actually think a major social upheaval is now inevitable — even if it does not escalate into CW. It will be short-lived, though.

The right needs to realize that “fighting” =/= pick up a gun and shoot people.
There are multiple avenues and venues to fight in. Many of them involve actively engaging leftists online and supporting those other people on the right, or anti-SJWs, or classical liberals, that are doing a great deal of the fighting in the arena of ideas.
If the right starts channeling some of that energy, that some dream of using in a civil war, in the actual war online, they will come out better and spare the nation the horrors of a real conflict.

It’s almost like the reincarnation of the people that went to Bull Run with picnic baskets to see the entire conflict over by the afternoon, or the people in WW1 that thought it would be over by the first snowfall, or when the Iraq War would be about 100 days or so.
There is a civil war going now. The shooting just hasn’t started yet. The Left is just picking the low hanging fruit now. But sooner or later, they will pick the wrong target. They block an ambulance or around Plant City and someone’s loved one dies because of it. There will be bodies in the street. The Left just knows where to pick their battles.

I don’t know anyone who thinks like that.
I do know, though, quite a few people who will do whatever they have to do to protect their families.
There is nothing more tragic for a country than a civil war. It is the worst possible thing that can befall a country. No friend of mine would ever initiate one. But virtually all of them would do anything and everything to protect their families if a civil war — or any violent threat — came to them.

Do the Freepers, Conservatives, Christian, “Right Wing” as we are labelled, Military Vets, Middle Class (non-elite) Constitutionalists expect the trillion dollar high tech cyber US war machine to be their ally in the event of a Civil War?
Please keep in mind the laws that have been passed in the last 15 years when answering. I know you consider yourself a good guy. That’s not up for debate. You are the good guy.
It’s an honest QUESTION.
Would you expect to be targeted with bullets, bombs, directed energy from aircraft, or other new weapons that were paid for by taxpayer dollars if violence broke out?
In a big city, cut off the electricity and in about 4 days What happens? A lot. All bad.
