The courts are stacked with leftist judges. We have to take a serious look at the tenure of the federal judiciary.
In addition, judges have to be held accountable when they stray from their duty. They should not be free to make law based upon their whims or their ideological leanings.
I have often thought that the courts should not be allowed overturn a vote of the people such as have occurred with homosexual marriages, unless there was a CLEAR deviation from the constitution.
If it can take several years for the court to schedule trials and operations, then why can’t it take just as long to process refugees?

Importantly, while the POTUS might be the tip of the sword in this, congress is “the rest of the blade”.
That is, the constitution only mandates the Supreme Court. All subordinate federal courts are not just created by congress, but given their parameters on which to function by congress. And congress can include or *exclude* what the jurisdiction of courts will be.
This means that the House and Senate judiciary committees are in control of not just the structure of the courts, but also their behavior.
Courts live and breathe “precedent” (aka ‘stare decisis’), the previous rulings of superior and peer courts, that they use to justify their rulings. However, if congress does not approve of such precedents, they can exclude them from citation in future decisions.
The U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary, also called the House Judiciary Committee has as its chairman, Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA).
The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, informally the Senate Judiciary Committee, is chaired by Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
These two men have the power to rewrite the federal judiciary, as long as there is a simple majority in each house, their reforms are justified in a (hand picked by the leadership) conference committee, returned to both houses for a simple majority vote, then go off to President Trump for his signature.
It is likely that this process is *already* underway, to split the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, who are responsible for much of the legal outrages in the western US.
So why stop there? While federal judges are lifetime appointments, if their court is rearranged or restructured, while they will still get paid, they will effectively be retired, since they will no longer hear cases. Much easier than impeachment.
But the house and senate judiciary committees could also carry out massive reforms in both civil and criminal law, that could lift huge burdens off the backs of the people, and put out of business entire herds of lawyers.

Eliminate the 9th Court. Fire all the judges. Divide the area into the 10th & the 11th districts. Appoint all new judges for these districts.

There are so many ways to play this and with Trump in command with Sessions at DOJ there are no “good options” for the unconstitutionalists ... it’s all just a decision of which nail gets hammered today...
Time to create a “special” court district encompassing one unpopulated Montana county and just assign all the jerks to it.
Congress doesn’t have to impeach the court; they can completely get rid of the lower courts and then reconstitute them in any manner they see fit.
Perhaps, but I don’t see our congress having the stones to do something like that. They might hurt somebody’s feelings.
