TRUMP MUST BREAK JUDICIAL POWER

As for Trump’s disparagement of the judges, only someone ignorant of history can view that as frightening.

Thomas Jefferson not only refused to enforce the Alien & Sedition Acts of President John Adams, his party impeached Supreme Court Justice Samuel Chase, who had presided over one of the trials.

Jackson defied Chief Justice John Marshall’s prohibition against moving the Cherokees out of Georgia to west of the Mississippi, where, according to the Harvard resume of Sen. Warren, one of them bundled fruitfully with one of her ancestors, making her part Cherokee.

When Chief Justice Roger Taney declared that President Abraham Lincoln’s suspension of the writ of habeas corpus violated the Constitution, Lincoln considered sending U.S. troops to arrest the chief justice.

Sadly the sheeple of the USA will believe anything the Democrats and Big Media( but I am being redundant) tell them. The Left has had the Education system in a stranglehold for decades. No wonder they fought so hard against Betsy DeVos.

Exactly right. The Courts MUST be reined in... this is the last refuge of the left, right now.

Agreed. The so called judges are, in fact, activist politicians. They are prepared to reverse their previous “judgements” just to oppose the newly elected President. Their message is loud and clear you voted for the “wrong” candidate so we are going to attempt to veto the election results.

The judges are guilty of judicial overreach and violated the US Constitution, for which they took an oath. Congress can impeach them.

Yeah and the military who is no longer taking a back seat in politics will whack them across the head and give them perspective.

When a judge can over rule a 2-1 vote of the people, it’s corruption of government. That’s happened in our states frequently on social issue votes - abortion, queer marriage, gun laws, etc.

Judges are nothing special, just lawyers playing demigod.

President Trump needs to hammer home that for 8 years the courts did nothing to rein in the half breed and NOW they step up to stop him. The other point is that SIX other Presidents did the same thing and the courts did nothing.

The next attack will come and blood will be on their hands.

Over playing a bad hand. Trump has so many options it ain’t funny. He could just have some “Lois Lerner” types at State just slow walk an paper work for one. So the Judge wins but if he wants the paper work done he can do it himself. In fact, if anyone at State complies with this Judge he will be sticking his neck out, WHICH MAY BE THE POINT OF THE EXERCISE!

TRUMP MUST BREAK JUDICIAL POWER

Amen!

Just Powers are derived from the Consent of the Governed NOT from a law school.

If I were Trump, I’d lift the ban order, then then follow Obama’s example and issue a “secret” Executive Order, Dems love secret orders, to put a quota on refugees from the 7 (or 8, I’d include Pakistan) specified countries. I think we can probably vet 10 refugees a day from these regions of terrorism sympathizers.

Unfortunately, in our age it is all about ideology and not principle.

The house could impeach a judge but the Senate does not have the votes to convict . . . but imagine what might be possible after 2018!

Please liberals, continue to show your hatred for America. A bunch of you are up for reelection. Sadly, those that are will pretend to be on the side of America until they are safely ensconced once again.

What Trump needs to do is to have congress create a new federal appeals district to cover Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Airzona, Idaho, Nevada, and Montana, and leave the 9th Circus to cover only Kalifornia.

That is kind of what I had suggested when I responded to Mr. Jim Robinson's vanity yesterday.

I said:

I do not think it would setup a "constitutional crisis" at all, since he does have the authority to cease immigration completely, or even selectively.

What he should do is threaten to:

rescind his original Executive Order and issue a new Executive Order ceasing all immigration for a period of time.

Furthermore, he should state that he will expand his order to include the cessation of H1B visas and will direct all of those here on visas for educational purposes to return to their home countries immediately. Then state he will direct the schools to refund all tuition money that they have received to be fair to the students regarding his order.

Lastly he should state he will ask Congress for a declaration of war against ISIS.

He should then finish off his threat that the Democrats and judicial activism have forced him to apply the ban across the board to eliminate the courts claim that his order is unconstitutional or discriminatory in nature.

That he knows he does have the constitutional authority with his original Executive Order, but that he wants to abide by the courts decision that he cannot limit it to certain nations, even though there has been precedents set by former Presidents who have issued this same exact limited immigration ban.

Under U.S. Code, the president does have the statutory authority to keep anyone out of the country, for any reason he thinks best. Per 8 USC §1182:

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Then sit back and watch the Democrats squirm. On what Constitution grounds could they claim it to be illegal or unconstitutional, since it is clearly spelled out in the Constitution that the President has that authority.

This would rock the entire world, but especially the liberal world who know that there is nothing unconstitutional about it whatsoever. It may also cause the silent majority to arise to the occasion calling for Congress to impeach these judicial activist sitting on our court systems.

Now the Democrats would be in a real quandary of their own making, and nothing at their disposal to stop him with. Perhaps then they will shut up and rethink their strategy before they inflict even more damage to their cause célèbre.
