I’m as disappointed in the 9th’s decision today as everyone else.

However, President Trump MUST not defy the court (9th or any other court). The DEMs want to impeach Trump. NEVER give them ammo they can use to make such a case.

Remember the Travel Ban is only for 90 days (120 for refugees) while “extreme vetting” procedures are put in place. The Travel Ban was never intended to be permanent.

The President needs to rush the “extreme vetting” procedures into place. Get them done in 30 days instead of 90/120 days. The “extreme vetting” procedures will be used by US embassies to select which foreign nationals can receive a visa to visit/attend school/relocate to the US. Make the procedures so “air tight” that most nationals from the dangerous countries can’t qualify for a visa.

When I say dangerous countries, I mean the 7 countries identified in the EO, plus Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Albania, etc.

Those four judges need to pay a price for usurping Trump’s Constitutional authority. The Senate needs to remove them all from their benches for violating their Oath of office.

Excellent point, the “extreme vetting” must be finalized and implemented as rapidly as possible. It will also be challenged in court, I’m sure, but can serve most of the practical needs of greatly constricting the flow of dangerous people. Put the burdens of proof on the individuals applying to show they are safe and make the standards of evidence very high.

Not that one knows what is really in someone’s head about jihad if they are good at deception, but we can place some high hurdles for them all.

You may be missing a major point here...the Democrats will now take the Extreme Vetting Procedures to court to rule that the President does not have the power to institute them as it violates the Constitution...and the new Constitutional Right to immigration. The President cannot ban travel into the United States from anywhere at this moment. The vetting will thrown out...in fact every decision he makes will now be taken through the same judicial process as this EO just went through.

Whatever extreme vetting they put in place, will also be stuck down by the liberal courts.

We need Judge Neil Gorsuch confirmed quickly. The nuclear option should be blamed on the Democrats who have obstructed his confirmation in the first place.

Meanwhile, until Gorsuch is confirmed, enhanced vetting procedures need to be created on the fast track so terrorist can’t rush in before our guard is up.

These grandstanding Democrats are playing to those who voted for Hillary. A Supreme Court ruling on this matter would vindicate Trump’s right to control who comes in. Gorsuch guarantees that Trump will succeed in this case. If the Democrats obstruct Gorsuch’s confirmation with a filibuster, they will be haunted by their own rule change, the nuclear option, which ends a filibuster with a simple majority vote.

Do not underestimate the evil of the left. They will challenge vetting in court, next.
