You may be missing a major point here...the Democrats will now take the Extreme Vetting Procedures to court to rule that the President does not have the power to institute them as it violates the Constitution...and the new Constitutional Right to immigration. The President cannot ban travel into the United States from anywhere at this moment. The vetting will thrown out...in fact every decision he makes will now be taken through the same judicial process as this EO just went through.

Congress needs to squash this out of control Judiciary. The judges do not rule over the Executive Branch but the Executive also cannot stop them. Only Congress can and I doubt they have the stomach for it.

Best to let the “professionals” update the vetting procedures (under political appointee guidance).

Trump has a layer between him and the vetting procedures. If a lawsuit occurs, the State Department needs to tell the courts that professional experienced experts have created enhanced vetting procedures that apply to ALL countries, all foreign nationals, all religions.
