We earlier linked to a ‘Flamanville’ video to promote our nuclear publications. Publications are correct. Video is not. We regret the error.

WikiLeaks posted the wrong video.
“Let me know when youre happy.”
I am happy. WikiLeaks published retraction.
The thread originator acknowledged that the video didn’t match the story but you keep posting the videos? WHY?
Are you still ticked off about Twin Peaks?
Don’t forget there was an explosion of sorts in the Paris metro yesterday. Wonder what will happen tomorrow.
Thanks for the clarification.
Reading official communications from Fukushima and Cher noble Proves that false officials always lie and say there is no risk to public. The Russians let a parade take place near the smoldering reactor. They promised the town residents that it was safe to remain and irrational to be concerned. Then officials did the math and realized everyone in the town would be dead in a week if they remain ed. So they lied to the public again andtold the ppublic they would only have to leave for a week so they ddidn’t need to take belongings. After tthe people were bused out of the city, they were told they could never rreturn
Japan now admits just how much it lied to the public about safety. Nuke officials lie to the public. All the time.
There’s no comparison Nuke explosion entail higher stake. S. .
Lot a fake news indeed.
The lastest that I can confirm, from various different sources (plant CEO, gov, media...) here in France :
- there was no explosion, just a detonation
- there was no physical harm, only 5 persons slightly intoxicated from smokes, no hospitalisation required
- the detonation happens in the alternator section, so nothing to do with a nuclear incident or accident.
But of course, the lying media and the gullible nucleophobes (most of them have no idea of what a nuclear plant looks like and have never visited one) will make a mountain out of a molehill.
“Reading official communications from Fukushima “
You stated that the officials said there was no danger from radiation. In fact over 100,000 people were evacuated on Day 1 and a prohibited zone set up.
“Theres no comparison “
No comparison to Chernobyl and Fukushima designs to our nukes.
Actually there is a clear comparison between Fukushima and our nuclear power plants. It’s a GE design and after Fukushima, US Nuke plants did an assessment and reported that they needed additional funds to relocate nuclear fuel stored in above ground pools like those currently in Japan. The fukushima exposed pools of nuclear fuel made US nuke plants report their same predicament - 25% of our plants store fuel the same way and Nuke plants admitted the vulnerability. If you were around when flooding completely surrounded one particular US nuke plant calling into question how long electrical generators could keep cooling water flowing - there is all too much to compare.
In Chernobyl, top staff was elevated beyond reproach from peers and in the US, the government protects the nuke industry from the will of the American people. Oh how I wish there were less to compare!
ANNNNNNNND when mayors of affected cities requested permission to distribute iodine capsules per the plan, all were expressly denied permission to do so because there was “no threat to human health.” One brave mayor distrubuted the capsules anyway, protecting the children of his city against the stated orders of the government.
Japan had simulation software that clearly indicated harm but, according to a translation from TEPCO, the company did not alert the public because “We didn’t want to.” FOr this reason, residents who fled accidentall fled downwind essenetially following the densest radioactive plume. They made make-shift encampments unknowningly in contaminated zones until gov workers in radiation suits showed up and told them they were in a contaminated area and had to leave. Since then TEPCO came clean and admitted that all their assurances to the public were complete lies in opposition to all the information they had at the time. Japan and the US and other government backed nuke industries in Europe lie to the public because the governments underwrite and are liable for the actions of the nuke company. Therefore, Japan and Russia ordered citizens back to zones known to be contaminated. The nuke industry has a shameful past it denies - without a willingness to accept responsibility for all the harm they do, with government protecting them from accountability, they feel enttitled to abuse the public and accuse the average citizen for irrational fear.
