Hah! thanks for the chuckles...
It’s a big deal. Some very expensive equipment got burned.
I’m skeptical about this being accidental.
But that was not the nuclear section of the facility.
Reached for comment, local neighbors (just glowing) stated they had noticed no problems subsequent to the fine mist they walked through on the way home from work.
Fuels are not allowed to be stored in or near nuclear power plants. They must have self containment and away from any structures.

OK ... further investigation reveals that the explosion video upthread has NOTHING to do with the French reactor.
Something strange here.
Their explosions cause physical damage but cause no radiation leakage.
“That was a monstrous blast. For some reason, I am skeptical about this being no big deal.”
The video doesn’t match the site photos.
THIS IS NOT FLAMANVILLE. Fake news.
Someone has a sense of humor, too.
“Good catch by 1rudeboy that the video doesnt match the story.”
I didn’t see his post but I have posted similar.
To me it looked like an arc flash event followed by transformer explosions.
don't have a knee-jerk political reaction. Its the fact. Its what bureaucrats do. Nuke accidents are always underplayed by those in charge. doesn't mean nuclear power is bad - just human nature.
Did you read the comments? Not a nuclear power plant. Not even in France!

From your response I have no idea whether you made it up or read it from an anti-nuclear website.
