A 12-year-old boy was in a coma over the weekend after being severely beaten by another student at a northwest suburban middle school Friday.
Kenyon Woods Middle School Principal Lisa Olsem said the young boy was “assaulted by another student” just before noon. He suffered severe injuries and was taken to Presence St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin before being transferred to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
{SNIP} At the Elgin school district meeting Monday night, the student board member wore green, a symbol officials say is meant to represent hope. Others throughout the district wore the color in support after the brutal beating. That support, the district’s CEO says, is not one-sided.
“Not only do we support Henry, but we also support the student who allegedly caused this—we support him through counseling,” Tony Sanders said.

The school will suspend the victim like they did at that other school when a kid wore a hat supporting America and Donald Trump.

Please, parents, cut off your cable service and cell phone, give up the beer, save every dime you can and get your child out of such dangerous schools. Sending them into a battlefield unarmed is child abuse. And the ignorant lazy administrators who try to rev up good PR for themselves by wearing green or pinning on a ribbon are clearly more interested in saving their paychecks than protecting your children.
The perp deserves lessons that are equal with the punishment he inflicted on the innocent.

Elgin is 40 miles NW of Chicago.
Accidental bumps are seen as a serious diss in some cultures. Maybe we'll learn more facts soon.
And idiot news readers are saying this might have been the result of a "misunderstanding", as if accidentally bumping into someone in a crowded school hallway should ever result in a violent reaction regardless of understandings, or misunderstandings.
When the law no longer works...
Everything I’ve been able to see or read about this and the information about the attacker leads me to believe two things: The victim is white, and the attacker is ‘unspecified’ not only in age, but race, looks or anything like that. There are pictures of the victim for sure, but NOTHING about the attacker.
This is to be expected from apologist and protective media, law enforcement and school officials, frankly. They are quisling functionaries in the devolution of morals, ethics, duty, honor and justice in this country.
This crazed imperative that we must not upset muslims, blacks, Mexicans, gays (and all their multivariate sub classes), and Trump-hating liberals and Democrats does not mean we have to forego all logic and ‘support’ them; it means that we really need to understand this insane need to kill ourselves as a society in this futile attempt to be diverse and inclusive at the expense of people who have done them no real tangible harm.
