New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett refuses to attend the team's reception at the White House after winning the Super Bowl LI because he doesn't support President Donald Trump.
Bennett made the comments while both speaking with reporters and on Twitter, the Dallas Morning News reported on Monday.

You know, was it my noticing only, but it seems like the Patriots are all cleaned cut atheletes. None of the players white or black with the extra long hair, which in my opinion will affect your play. It shows discipline.
Sorry about Bennett. I think he played for my Bears, and was good.

Explains why this Superbowl wasn’t watched by as many as others.
