“With slight shades of difference,” wrote George Washington in 1796, Americans “have the same religion, manners, habits and political principles.

That is no longer true."

Even if the Libs in CA lost everything (e.g., indigenous peoples confiscate their land & wealth), they would still come back to the US and blame the Conservatives. Never themselves.

“The second option will lead to bloody Civil War”

Red state blood will flow in drops. Blue state blood will flow in flood stage rivers.

“No one on the right will start the shooting and very few will return fire. It would mean killing your pastor, neighbor, local official snf family members who voted for Hilliary and to your face tell you Trump is illegitimate. You don’t punch them in the fave do you, even though they most assuredly deserve it?”

If my pastor, neighbor, local official or family members are leading or participating in a partisan army that is coming to kill me and my family there’s no question as to what would happen.

No.
Los Angeles and San Francisco are overwhelmingly liberal.
Most most of the land around it is Red.
Problem is, most of the population in the People’s Republic of California is urban.
This is true in almost every Blue state. A large urban population controls the rest of the state.
Drop LA into the Pacific and California becomes a Red state. Drop NYC into the Atlantic, and New York goes Red, too.
Atlanta and Savanah are blue tumors in an otherwise red state, but don’t have enough population (yet) to sway the entire state. If they get a little larger, though, we lose GA. Which explains a lot of Obama’s immigration policies.

Were the left coast to succeed enmass the counties in WA and OR that are east of the cascades would immediately choose to form their own states, the same for Northern Cal.

VA/WV is the precedent.

That’s not the way it will go down. All they have to do is support the progressive commie/ fascists the way they do now. Controls will come from the top (feds & corporations) and the bottom (local/ state gov and schools and institutions). That is what happened with the usurper which was suppose to accelerate with Hillary. See Britain for how it works.

The rest of the thread speaks for itself. If you read the article and accept its premise, do you really think time is on our side?

Doesn’t matter. Unless vote fraud is cleared up, those votes might as well be real.
And, to the mind of a Democrat, illegal aliens and felons have the same voting rights as citizens - and there are lots of them. In fact, the Motor Voter Act was, arguably intended to register illegal aliens all along...

there’s a small ray of hope in there....notice the older counties in the NE in which the trend is slowly turning from D to R (Pct Rep) from 2000 to 2012?... Albeit nowhere near their previous numbers! The main problem is how weak and fickle the Republicans have been in these larger Coastal states!

The Khmer Rouge used little kids to put plastic bags over the heads of their own teachers and other “deplorables”.

Don’t think for a single moment that anyone in a Pussy-Hat wouldn’t do the same to a Trump voter in a heartbeat.

Recognize reality foe what it is and prepare.

This would FIRST require the whole state to secede. Anything that happens after that is an internal CA issue. It may or may not split again depending.

Yes and no. Given that secession is illegal, recognition of such action would be the decision of the Federal government and other states. I think a separate state in northern and eastern Cali would be the point of agreement.

No matter what anyone thinks secession is not unconstitutional. The US Constitution says zero, zip, zilch, nada about state secession.

If we don't reduce immigration, legal and illegal, the Dems will become the permanent majority party. It is irrefutable.

I supported Trump from the very beginning because of his stance on immigration and the support of Jeff Sessions. We should celebrate his victory, but we should not delude ourselves about the Dems and their long term prospects. Demography is destiny.

But if a mere temporary travel ban from certain countries has caused people to lose their minds the way it has, I have no hope that a moratorium will ever actually happen. Bye-bye, country that we knew and loved.

Couldn't agree more. The reaction of the Dems and MSM is meant to deter any talk of removing the illegal aliens and reducing legal immigration. The global corporations, religious groups, labor unions, etc. have formed an unholy alliance that is blocking any reduction in immigration. Only the people are resisting because they are feeling the impact. Mass immigration is destroying this country and the vision of our Founders.

The GOP responds to the wishes of its corporate paymasters, the Chamber of Commerce, and special interests. They could care less about the impact on American workers and their families. We have a massive surplus of labor and we still continue to bring in every year 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants and 640,000 guest workers. It is insanity. Americans are losing their jobs and their wages are being depressed. In the meantime, our taxes are supporting the massive immigrant flow that affects our social welfare system, schools, healthcare facilities, and prison facilities.

Legit immigration is okay because those who come to the USA the right way most likely will assimilate into American society. It is about the illegals issue that I am cocern about.

IMO all immigration needs to stop for at least 20 years to sort out the mess we are in.
