California State Senate Leader: ‘Half My Family’ Here Illegally
Breitbart ^ | 2/5/2017 | Tim Donnelly

Posted on 02/05/2017 5:05:59 PM PST by Veritas_vos_Liberabit67

California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) said last Tuesday that “half his family” was in the country illegally, using false documents, and eligible for deportation under President Trump’s new executive order against “sanctuary” jurisdictions.

De Léon, who introduced the bill, made his remarks at a hearing in Sacramento on SB54, the bill to make California a “Sanctuary State.” He said (at 1:27:34 in the video that follows):

… I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation.

One of Trump's EO’s goes after illegals who falsified govt documents.

Trump’s order calls for targeting anyone who lied on federal employment forms........most of the 8 million jobholder illegals, a Pew report found, worked in violation of the law. They falsified federal employment forms stating they were legally allowed to work.

Trump needs to consider falsification of other documents......like welfare forms, EITC tax refund apps, school documents, birth certificates...and so on.

===================================

Falsifying Government Documents involves altering, changing, or modifying a document for the purpose of deception.......can also involve forgery and/or passing copies of false documents. Falsifying documents is usually done in connection with broader criminal aims, such as extortion, government fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, financing terrorism........

Types of documents commonly falsified may include:
◾Tax returns and income statements
◾Personal checks
◾Bank account records
◾Business record keeping books
◾Immigration documents (such as visas, passports, etc.)
◾Identification cards and birth certificates

Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
◾Altering or misrepresenting factual information such as prices or monetary amounts
◾Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
◾Forging a signature
◾Using official letterheads without authorization
◾Concealing assets or property WRT obtaining federal/state grants))
◾Knowingly using or distributing a fake document

A person can only be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party.

Falsifying govt documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
◾Having to pay a monetary fine
◾Incarceration in a prison facility

Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years. Also, if government documents or authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. ..... legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.

The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.

This arrogant elected office holder is both bragging and playing the victim's card.

Like you, and millions of other Californians, I'm sick of this illegal immigration - illegal alien infestation getting backburner treatment when enforcement of current law is the subject.

Of course, the polar opposite is true, when the subjects are Sanctuary Cities, protections of undocumented immigrants, refugees and the victimized less fortunate ! Love the P.C. descriptions of these gate-crashing illegal aliens! /s.

This guy is rotten-ripe. Make him an example by immediately deporting the asses of his illegal family members and remove him from office for his part in harboring them, aiding and abetting.

Also, look to him and others in his American citizen family to repay the State of CA for the monetary expenses incurred by ALL his illegal family members: public schools, medical, welfare, food stamps, etc.

I think the Justice Department is going to have to go after a few of these guys before they grasp what the laws of the land are.

He has breached his oath of office. Get rid of him.

Put him away for a while.

This is unbelievable. A legislator, a guy who WRITES AND PASSES LAWS, openly states that laws he doesn’t like just don’t matter. How can anyone take any of his laws (thus CA laws) seriously?
