WASHINGTON, Feb 5 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeal court late on Saturday denied a request from the U.S. Department of Justice to immediately restore a immigration order from President Donald Trump barring citizens from seven mainly Muslim countries and temporarily banning refugees.
The court ruling dealt a further setback to Trump, who has denounced the judge in the state of Washington who blocked his Jan. 27 order on Friday. In tweets and comments to reporters, the president has insisted he will get the ban reinstated.

And Trump and a Sessions DOJ will find ways to overcome the opposition. This has also likely reinvigorated Trump’s plan to replace the infested government workforce, especially in DOJ, State Department and DHS.
With a potential 8 years of federal bench appointments, the long term liberal Justice arm will also be reduced.
We can start by defunding visa operations for the State Department.
Send the FBI to remove that SOB from the bench if if he fails to honor the President’s constitutional rights to protect the country. So the way I read this is that the 9th Circuit, highly liberal and most over turned by Supremes said basically that both sides have a time line to submit their arguments. Midnight tonight for Trump and midnight Monday for WA state, then they will chew on it BUT in the mean time the Exec Order is on hold so refugees get your plane tickets now.
Meanwhile MSM spins this as major defeat.
120 ban is on hold, Trump made his point to rational people and honored a campaign promise. Time to re-work the Vetting ASAP and tweak that process and get it in place while current vetting is in place.

The decision seems pretty thin so it is likely that it will be reversed at some point. Gorsuch may be on the SC by then.

Supporting Trump’s order were numerous citations of legal authority. Supporting Washington state’s position—zip. Totally biased judge. The case should have been tossed.

I'm not crazy. I've practiced law for over 35 years and litigated probably 200+ cases where my clients either sought or were the target of federal court TROs or injunctions. I've also clerked for two federal circuit courts of appeals and know the standards applicable to TROs in a federal, constitutional context. District Judge Gorton in Boston got the analysis exactly right. The so-called Judge, Robert, wrote a laughable and incomprehensible opinion that ought to serve as the basis for commitment proceedings rather than praise from any real lawyer. Despite its liberal track record I really thought the Ninth Circuit would immediately stay Robart's TRO. On the SCTUS. If these Judges want to run the country, they should be required to get elected first.
