Does the McClaren-Warren act of 1952 seem pertinent here? It gave the president the power to do what President Trump did and this power was used by Demonrat Jimmy Carter. And these judges are nothing but Democrats first and only. Fire or impeach them all and start over.
I have no idea why we had a Presidential election. Obviously, all we needed was an appointed federal judge to make our decisions for us. In fact, why doesn’t Robart just impeach Trump and appoint Hillary Clinton? The Constitution” has just been shredded to “We, the illegal immigrants.”
The judiciary has to be reigned in. When this sort of thing happens, congress should immediately move to limit said court’s jurisdiction or in this case, start impeachment proceedings against the rogue judge.
So the refugees come in un-vetted by the plane loads until April or May? Not to mention the ones coming through our borders. So trump signed an ExO that is not going to have a real effect? It won’t be reversed at present because Gorsuch has not been seated. You are watching the liberal courts possibly force the United States to admit Muslims from the worst places on earth. They will also stop removal of illegals.
I’ve seen liberal judges spin fantasies on the bench, this ruling is based on calling people who dare to protect America racist. The leftists WILL declare even illegals a protected class, do not doubt me.

There’s an easy solution. Ignore the judges and enforce the ban. The executive branch has the guns (and the Constitutional precedent), but the guns (along with the willpower) are what matters most.

I watched in court as a liberal judge begged religious Muslims not to leave this country and that America’s problems would be solved when Bush left office. Why were they in court? Because their high school senior son threatened to kill a Jewish kid. Enough said?
1. Emergency appeal of the anticipated denial of the government's request for stay of the nationwide TRO, which looks like that will happen on Tuesday at the latest. In the meantime, the Senate needs to confirm Gorsuch on MONDAY.

President Trump may have to revise the EO a bit to remove the taint of a religious basis for the temporary pause by not referring to an exemption for adherents to or members of religions which are a minority in the affected, 7 countries. I don't have the EO in front of me but I believe such language is in there and was unnecessary, just afforded the Dem lawyers a small basis to justify their TRO application.
More to the point, the democrats think that this “resistance”
demonstrates how much energy is on their side. In reality, this judge is simply forcing the same ole brewsky from the last eight years down the American people’s throats. De facto as if Obama is still in office and the last election never happened. The Courts have decided that an Obama EO lives forever and that anything else is illegal. The Courts have decided that anyone and everyone who wants to can come to this country, at any time. Madness. Next up, the EO directing the building of the wall will be overturned by the Courts.
Who will be energized? The always looney left or the silent majority that rose up last election because they were tired of exactly this?
If anyone knows the answer, is any program or law forcing us to take refugees from these countries in the first place? In specific numbers?

In other words: if Trump had made his order prospective rather than retroactive, and had left already issued visas alone, he could have tightened up the vetting process going forward while the legacy issues self-corrected over time. But how long would this take?
bulldaddy - I haven’t read all the details regarding the opinion of the federal district court judge in boston, but the opinion of the judge in boston seems on its face to conflict with the opinion of the 9th federal district court judge. I think im missing something here, but why did the 9th circuit judge’s opinion prevail in this instance before the fed ct of appeals denied request for immediate stay?
