A car ad about gender equality? By a female director?
This years Super Bowl advertisers may have planned for a Hillary Clinton presidency.
Audis 60-second Super Bowl commercial is pitched to dads but has a message about equal pay. The ad sees a father watching his daughter win a go-cart race and then walks her to his new Audi 5S sports car.
The commercial, called Daughter from ad agency Venables Bell & Partners, ends with a billboard that reads: Progress is for Everyone.

I worked at several back in the late-70s/early-mid-80s, but left in ‘88. Pretty heady days, but everything changed for the worse, with all the mergers.
I hate this assumption that if you are for equal pay you must have been for HRC. Trump is not against pay equity. The Ad Agencies have been taken over by the left generally and by Radical Feminists specifically. That said Audi had to approve this BS Ad so their hands are dirty too.
But the make amazing cars. I have owned several. A drivers car not a mechanics car
I find that generally when someone on the road cuts me off, drives too fast or tails me it’s an Audi.
Perhaps I missed the trailer behind the car to tow the go cart to and from the race. What, you say Audis don’t come with a trailer hitch?
If only the daughter had been aborted, he could have bought his girlfriend/boyfriend a fabulous matching Audi.
I have an Inni :)
64 year old white woman grew up in a two-parent, 3 child household ..two brothers, I was sandwiched in the middle. Father worked, Mom stayed home until two of us were out of high school and younger brother was a sophomore and then mom went back to the bank to work. In all my years of life, my parents never once told me I could not do something or would not earn something because I was a girl. The message was “do your best, work hard and we expect you to do well”. That was the message! This innane tripe is offensive and annoying and despicable! I’m so sick of this message that “girls have been kept down” that “there was a glass ceiling” blah blah blah. I don’t buy it. I’ve never experienced it and I’ve been in the workforce since I was 12 years old... furst job-babysitting Never stopped working, I’ve never looked back. I’ve gotten as far as I’ve gotten because of decisions I made. I held myself back in some areas because I quit college. I did not go back to college so I probably could have gotten farther in life but I’m doing just fine, earning six figures and I’m happy and I own my own home. Nobody kept me from anything except ME! ENOUGH of this crap already! !
This is brainwashing 201.
Public schooling is brainwashing 101.
I have no problem not watching this years Subpar Bowl

I think Super Bowl has reached critical mass. People used to tune in for the ads but I think that ends this year the total politicalization of everything is a total turn off
That doesn’t look like a go-cart [powered by an engine]; it looks like a soap box derby car [powered by gravity]. Go Akron!
Jes sayin’
Beer. Immigration. Imported auto. Feminism.
Motivate millennials to get out of their parents basement, get a job, buy a car.
Sounds like a win-win-win to me. :)
*Feel* the love.
That being said, I've never in my life thought of girls/women as inferior. We have different skill sets. Different abilities. Different wiring. My wife is a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother who loves her kids, and is the backbone in my family. I'd be lost without her. She is my equal. She is my partner. She makes no money, but provides a better life for three other people by not making that money.
This ad will not be seen in ALL 57 Muslim countries..
I have an 01TT225 bhp... I have said a million times, lift the body, roll out the chassis and rebuild my beauty... it is my daily driver and I truly enjoy it. My dream car is a 1970 Challenger RT.. can’t help it, I just can’t drive a cookie cutter SUV.
I have to admit I do love those commercials.
Woman are physically inferior to men. That is just fact.
I’m a 73 year old female. I was there when women were not supposed to be taken seriously. With only a high school education I have out earned both my college educated brothers my entire life.
Did people tell me I couldn’t do things? Sure , my answer was always the same “watch me”
Looks like these companies are more interested in politically correct posturing than in selling a product.
