64 year old white woman grew up in a two-parent, 3 child household ..two brothers, I was sandwiched in the middle. Father worked, Mom stayed home until two of us were out of high school and younger brother was a sophomore and then mom went back to the bank to work. In all my years of life, my parents never once told me I could not do something or would not earn something because I was a girl. The message was “do your best, work hard and we expect you to do well”. That was the message! This innane tripe is offensive and annoying and despicable! I’m so sick of this message that “girls have been kept down” that “there was a glass ceiling” blah blah blah. I don’t buy it. I’ve never experienced it and I’ve been in the workforce since I was 12 years old... furst job-babysitting Never stopped working, I’ve never looked back. I’ve gotten as far as I’ve gotten because of decisions I made. I held myself back in some areas because I quit college. I did not go back to college so I probably could have gotten farther in life but I’m doing just fine, earning six figures and I’m happy and I own my own home. Nobody kept me from anything except ME! ENOUGH of this crap already! !

Absolutely right. I can honestly say that in my lifetime no one has held me down professionally because I’m a woman. My mother worked a very busy white collar job with lots of travel. She ditched me to a full time preschool at age 2. Ditched me further when I was 12 and was never home, leaving me to the whims of the pervs of this world. I was always proud of all her achievements. I went far in education and career.... for a short while. Once I had a child it stopped. I would not sacrifice my child’s safety like she did mine. And my kids have so far grown up with me actually involved in their lives. So far none have been abused.

If both parents are gone all the time we have no culture. So I paid attention to the victims of feminism (because I was one) and realized human animals need someone home with the children. We all love to talk about how certain animals need to spend 2 or 5 years with their mother. Well, those animals, whether whales or elephants, are smarter than we are. We outsource our very culture and being. Children need depth of contact with someone(s) who would die for them.

It’s not about how competent women are at business. If we don’t have kids, we can do anything and nothing should stop us except physical limitations. But we need to think of the continuation of higher culture, and that takes sacrifice on the part of parents. Which is instinct to every animal without such a large frontal lobe.
