During the presidential campaign, several dozen brainless Hollywood stars were so hateful of Donald Trump that they promised to leave the country if he won. Well, we are still waiting for them to do everyone and favor and leave. Of course, they continue to pollute the airwaves here in America. During the awards season for the movie industry, it has been non-stop criticism of our new President. . .
. . .It is time for the 62.9 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump to use their considerable economic power. If every one of those voters decided to boycott Hollywood, the industry would totally collapse. Most of today’s movies are not very good and have an obvious and agenda that is both politically correct and liberal.
The Trump voters are the ones who spend hard earned money to support brainless stars who do nothing but criticize President Trump and his change-oriented agenda.
By demeaning Trump and call him a “racist,” “Nazi,” “white supremacist,” these Hollywood fools are also deriding his millions of supporters.
It is time for the backlash of Trump supporters to begin and for millions of Americans to say to Hollywood, “enough is enough. . ."

I don't watch TeeVee, and I only get DVDs of old movies from Netflix. REAL old movies.

XLNT list. I have no problem boycotting all of these companies…except perhaps Macys. Have to put a sticky on that to remind myself.
I found a terrific Nike parka for my son for Christmas at Macys…then drove a few more blocks to Shopko and bought it for $30 less.
I can’t completely boycott Hollywood. Each time John Wayne or Clint Eastwood put out a new movie I’m buying the DVD as soon as it comes out.

As you noted, most of us can boycott the companies and their products on my list without any harm to us. Avoiding the junk food and sweet drink companies can benefit us health wise.

I have boycotted movies pretty much since starting FR. I would probably go to a new Mel Gibson, or Coen brothers. Maybe Woody Allen or something based on a le Carre book. I think that about does it. I saw Genius on my sister’s recommendation and it was excellent—my kind of movie. Also loved Zero Dark Thirty. But I will not go to something I am not familiar with just because it is supposed to be wonderful and get assaulted by the evil and vulgarity.
Hollywood has everything to do with politics. They made sure of that themselves.
Sabo the Conservative Street Artisit said it best: these celebs are just political militants first, and they use their entertainment positions to preach their politics.
I have not paid for any movies or for any TV in years - and all of the Broadband entertainment content I watch is completely free of any advertising.
