” I hope we work together as a nation.”

NEVER WILL HAPPEN. We are divided (and accept it) just like the previous 8 years and prefer it this way. I’ve preached this always on FR:

we CANNOT CO-EXIST with libtards. They have to go or we will..

And they are threatening the same with Scott Pruitt for EPA:

I’m predicting another win for the GOPe over the DEMe. I’m not tired of winning.

Yes. Jeff Sessions has many virtues: intelligence, respect for the law, respect for others. He is a gentleman. None of that counted with his fellow Senators from the other party.

I imagine that he always was kind and respectful in his dealings with his fellow Senators, regardless of party. To the Democrats, he is just a racist from Alabama, or so they choose to tell the world.

I expect that the full Senate vote will be also be on a party line basis.

I doubt it. That would be too politically damaging for Democrat Senators from Red States up for re-election in 2018, and possibly even in some Blue states that were close last November. Sessions should get a decent number of Democrat votes in the Senate...

I hope the GOP are learning an important lesson here- that Trump fights the way DEMS do when they are no longer in power.

Thanks for the correction.

My point about the Dems trying to re-visit the glory that was Madison only applies to the other two, then.

No, it is time for them to give up a lot.

They have been taking from us ever since 1965 (LBJ, Ted Kenn) - except for a brief hiatus during the Reagan years - and have plunged America into a communist dystopia.

No I do not. The footdragging is monkey wrenches thrown in the works by the Democrats not McConnell. People have an odd view of what can be done in the legislature in the face of a determined enemy. Things cannot work as fast as desired because of these enemies. They don’t act like the Republicans used to. Finally the GOP seems to be wakening to this truth.

All the Rats are doing is provide cover for Trump’s EOs by making asses of themselves in the Senate. We now have a Sec. of State and each day Trump’s program is working its way through the obstacles.

Nope, we don’t have to stand still for this.

Please link me to any evidence whatsoever that McConnell is even aware that this is taking too long.

Has he been riding the Democrats non-stop? No.

If Trump was in the Senate, do you think he would have been quiet?

We need some leadership in the U.S. Senate. It has been obvious for years.

I have been saying this since before Orin Hatch proclaimed Ted Kennedy as his very best friend.

You attitude is unwarranted and ignores reality. Attacks on the leadership not only won’t accomplish anything but merely aids the enemy.
