A Democratic senator says she is working on two bills to strike down President Trump's executive order that temporarily bars immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries and refugees.

"Congress must take swift action in response to President Trump's discriminatory order," tweeted California Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Sunday.

Feinstein, the ranking member on the Judiciary Committee, said she is drafting the legislation that she will introduce Monday.

When these asshats go on their “over seas fact finding tours” during recess, Trump should ensure that on the way back they get to sit with a bunch of “guests” they support having little or no vetting for. Trump should find the seediest, most violent, ignorant and rude visa applicants and ensure they sit with these asshats the whole way back with further transfer to be as close to possible to their residences. After all, we want to ensure these “guests” do not feel slighted by being kept apart from our political leadership. Furthermore, we want to ensure their constituents get the full benefit of living about those their representatives believe are benefits to this country.

Passing this depends on how many RINOs fold over the pressure from the press and “protestors”.

“”Spastic fool!!””

She hasn’t gotten the message in 25 years so there’s no hope she’ll ever get tired of making a fool of herself.

Bigger fools are the ones who keep her in office.

Theater.

A bill can not “override” an EO unless it repeals its statutory authority. The authority for this EO comes from the Constitution and from statute, so Feinstein is out of luck.

Here’s a good backgrounder

“It will be useful to flush out the RINOs. We will be watching.”

You have to hand it to the Democrats. The fight in unison when they are down and when they are up. If only the GOP majority in Congress had demonstrated 50% of the fire in the belly the Dems are showing during the Obama administration.

Bypassing the thread to post this: doesn't the President need to sign a bill to pass it into law? If so, her threats are kabuki theatre.

I think you can count on it - the Repubs are quaking in their boots right now and it is only one month into the new session. BUT as another poster said, the congress cannot just simple outlaw an Executive Order that is based in existing law unless the bill amends the existing law and THEN Trump will have to sign it. Who thinks that has a snow balls chance in he$$ of occurring. Nothing more than kabuki theater for the victim class, who are the new constituents of the RAT party in 2016.

Mark Levin was just talking about Richard Lamm - check this out and see if you agree with former Dem Gov of Colorado, Richard Lamm.

Attach a confirmation to all Trump’s cabinet to the bill.

Including Scalia's replacement, I assume.
