The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement early Sunday saying that they plan on continuing to “enforce all of the president’s executive orders in a manner that ensures the safety and security of the American people.”
The DHS said the court order would not affect the overall implementation of the White House order and the court order affected a small number of travelers who were inconvenienced by security procedures upon their return.
“The president’s executive orders remain in place—prohibited travel will remain prohibited, and the U.S. government retains its right to revoke visas at any time if required for national security or public safety,” the statement said....

Because those were the countries named in the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act that Obama signed in December 2015. Saudi Arabia wasn’t listed.

Please tell me what binds Trump to that document. If he is legally bound, then I will admit I’m wrong.

He knew the libs would squall like scalded cats when he did this. And he can point to their beloved lib leader that he did the same. They have no talking points (though I’m sure they’ll continue squalling).
If I’m reading it correctly, a Saudi who has been to one of these 7 countries in the past 5 years would be denied entry to the US, but I’m not an immigration lawyer. I’m an armchair commentator, just like everyone else.
I don't think this is a conscious thought of many of progressive liberal democrats/marxists but rather a gut understanding that anywhere they are - there are deporables amoung them lots of us.
They are always hiding behind the notion of protecting "the most vulnerable in society" all the while murder vacuuming out babies of poor mothers wombs. As they see the vulnerable voters (the dead, illegals, double voting college kids) kindred spirits at the ballot box be culled from the voter rolls they see their power slipping away.
On a large scale these people have self segregated into California and New York for the most part - and even there they know we deplorables are legion among them.
This summer in a Miran County supermarket I had it out with a supermarket clerk who said something unsolicited about Trump. I called her on it and very loudly you should have seen the supermarket. Bizarre what political correctness does to the spine.
Trump has shown us the way don't stop, don't apologize, don't accept the premise - call them out for the anti-Americans they are.
Before November Democrats of all stripes were full of hubris arrogance and laziness (passive aggressive aholes - just like perl programmers, okay most programmers - frikin monoids). Now they are scared, and the fear is creating paranoia, paranoia leads to irrational behavior which we will capitalize on an exploit.
Lets feed the progressive lefts paranoia - its the right thing to do.
