Why hasn’t the Illinois National Guard been called up. At the 1968 DNC riots, they paired one squad of active duty soldiers with one Chicago cop for about 4 or 5 days. It worked very well.

It’s not just chicago. New Orleans murder rate since katrina is extremely high. Trump is not going to federalize these urban cities run by dems. This is how he negotiates. He shoots off his mouth first then he works out deal. He may not do anything if his statements incents the locals to act.
