Yeah. A lot of rain.
Normal as all get out.
Droughts over.
Always happens this way.
This year is not bad at all in terms of torrential rain.
Hmmm...
It seems like California goes through periods of extended drought, followed by extended wet periods.
Over the centuries, mankind has learned to use something called Reservoirs to alleviate this situation. Californians used to know this, but around 30 years ago they lost that knowledge and quit building more.
January rain total in L.A. is already three times normal, and this storm will add significantly to that number.
Um..... the pool is getting awfully full...... I used to have a husband to take care of these things... I don’t even have a pump. How many inches more are coming today because I don’t feel like running to Home Depot... it’s my day off! /lazy

Yup a lot of rain for sure. Filling up all the added reservoir capacity that was put in after the drought of the late 80s. After all we voted for billions of dollars in water bonds to do just that. Oh wait, billions spent and the increase of reservoir capacity is exactly.....zero. But there are a boatload of pensions that got covered I am sure.
Where to flee to? Vegas? Canada? Mexico?
I just got an email weather watch notice for Phoenix...up to an inch of rain is forecast for tomorrow. We’ve had so much rain here in the last week, I thought it would never end.
