Exactly. Trump will not be involved in the prosecution. Trump will behave as President as the Constitution provides. The AG in the Trump administration will be the one who prosecutes.

And the AG will.

unless there becomes a pressing need to go after H I think this issue is going to go away.

We will find out if this is a nation of laws or not.

The only "pressing need" is to treat Hillary's criminal activities as crimes.

We will see if all of those "bright folks" in DC can figure that out...or if our education system has dumbed them down to the point that they think one law applies to the elites and another applies to everyone else.

Why would Obama want to give her a pardon when things she did are likely going to implicate him also and/or people in his administration? She would be going scot free and he would be left holding the bag. That just wouldn’t make sense.

I doubt Trump will pardon Hillary. I believe he wants her to run for POTUS again so he can get re-elected.

Trump is apparently willing to let by-gones be by-gones as long as Hillary stays out of politics for good.

Yep. This is why Hillary didn't contest the election.

Illary is still under scrutiny; see this article:

Chaffetz told her to her face that “the investigation continues”.

The Clintons are done with politics. This last campaign took too much of a toll on both Bill and Hillary's health while Chelsea possesses neither the ambition of her mother nor the charisma of her father to expect much of a career as a politician.

The CFF and CGI will slowly be dismantled and the three of them will retire to lives of privacy and financial comfort, thankful to have avoided prison.

I read an in-depth analysis of Hillary and a potential pardon. A Supreme Court decision from earlier in the Twentieth century held that acceptance of a presidential pardon was prima fascia evidence of guilt. While a pardon would protect Hillary from federal prosecution, it would open her up to a near infinity of civil and state lawsuits which she has already conceded to by accepting the pardon. At a minimum the Clintons and the Clinton foundation would be bankrupt. Also, many states where she had conducted her personal and foundation business could put her in prison.

It was widely reported that her lawyers were working with the man in charge of the pardon process under Obama. (He was a former Clinton associate and worked for Bill in the White House.) They were trying to work out bullet proof wording that covered all the contingencies. Apparently, they failed.

Bingo. Pardons manufactured like birth certificates when needed.

The press - corrupt as they are - would have covered it if she had been pardoned.

He is not the one to press charges anyway. Once he cleans out the DOJ, the ball's in their court.

Didn't I hear that they are shutting it down? Do they just get to walk with all that money?

“Didn’t I hear that they are shutting it down? Do they just get to walk with all that money? “

They are shutting down the Clinton Global Initiative, which I believe is a different entity. It was set up to handle bribes by foreign governments for access and favors. Since there are no Clinton’s in power the receipts dried up within days of the election.
