Hillary Clinton has just a few hours left to secure a pardon from President Obama. After that, she takes her chances with whatever the mercurial Donald Trump has in store for her.
Obama has pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than 1,000 people — in fact, he’s the most forgiving president in history. And while Hillary has until noon Friday to get a pardon for any crimes she may have committed, Obama as of noon Wednesday does not intend to pardon Madame Secretary.
Why not?
One reason: He probably doesn’t like her very much. The two were opponents for the White House in 2008 and harsh words were exchanged. And her appointment as secretary of state was more of a business transaction than anything else.
And, as you can probably figure out yourself, Obama likely doesn’t want his legacy eroded any more than it already has been and will be as Trump undoes his actions.

I didn’t realize it was possible to turn down a pardon.
A pardon cannot be rescinded.
Hillary was never convicted of a crime.
Trump is apparently willing to let by-gones be by-gones as long as Hillary stays out of politics for good.
I don’t believe a pardon is based on whether it was accepted or not. If Obama felt the need to cover his own a** he could give whoever he wants a pardon, whether they “want” one or not.
She hasn’t, yet. But a pardon covers all discoverable crimes committed up to that day and time.

It’s possible that he gave her a pardon but didn’t announce it. She can then whip it out at anytime and try to walk from her crimes if it looks like she’s going to be convicted.
Yes, one has to accept it.
By accepting a pardon, you formally admit guilt.
If 0dungsh*t had pardoned Hillary, I guarantee you she would NOT have gone to Trump’s Inauguration to ‘kiss his ring’.

I read earlier today that someone who was following this took a look at the DOJ Pardon List right after Trump took the oath of office and he said that there wasn’t anything on it about Hillary. I guess I don’t know if there is any way to “hide” a presidential pardon, but the poster seemed to be of the mind that if it wasn’t there it didn’t happen.

A pardon does not need to be made public. Hillary could be in possession of a pardon now and not use it until she felt she needed to. At some point, it would become known from letters or archives, but that might be years.
A pardon, once delivered, cannot be rescinded, especially not by a person different than the one who issued it.
A pardon can be rejected, but that’s a completely different matter from its issuance.
If you are so clueless, why are you bothering to post on this thread, at all?
