Last month, after designers Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs, and others, said that they would refuse to dress Melania, Bryan Fischer, the uber-conservative host of the show Focal Point on American Family Radio, added to the social-media controversy when he tweeted what appeared to be a simple question: If a baker can be forced to bake a cake for homosexuals, can a dressmaker be forced to make a dress for Melania?

Refusing to dress Melania is not the same as refusing to bake a same-sex cake. One is all about abusing the force of government, about fascism under the threat of financial loss, imprisonment and even violence in violation of one's first amendment rights to worship as one chooses. The other is about what to wear.

Of course they're not the same. bakers who refuse to bake cakes for gay 'weddings' sre Christians. Designers who refuse to dress Melania are left wing, homosexual loving deviants.
Christian = Bad
Left wing, homosexual deviant = Good.
What could be simpler?

Cant have it both ways. Either a business has the 1st Amendment freedom of association or it does not.
If it does have the freedom, then it also has the freedom to NOT associate. That would empower businesses to decide who they want as customers.
If it does not have the freedom, then the business CANT REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.

I will not participate in baking a cake for or associating in any way with the next gay wedding, calling out the rhetoric of racism, sexism, and xenophobia in the homonazi's campaign" The author not only fails to make his desired point, he makes our point for us.
Yes, I did change 3 things from his quote.

What gays think is important and needs all our support. What Christians think, isn’t, and doesn’t. In fact. the word, and the very idea, of “Christian” is missing from this article.
“Christian?” What’s that?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Tom Ford’s as delusional as CNN and ‘DC snowflakes’.
He WAS NEVER asked to dress the first lady... he’s just a jerk. Boycott his crappy ‘products’...

That sounds oddly like how the Bible describes the world of the end times.
Just sayin’.

If I was Melania, I would find the ugliest Tom Ford design on the rack to wear to the Inauguration.
Yeah, I’m mean that way.

“Christian” shouldn’t be needed, actually. Even pagan business owners should be able to operate according to their conscience in a free society. This is about freedom, not religion.

At least they’re on the defensive about this stupid and honestly unconstitutional law forcing people to act against their conscience and religious belief due to some warped interpretation of equality.
