Anyone who believes Democrats own exclusive opposition to Donald Trump are completely ignoring the deliberate construct of the 2015/2016 republican primary. There are just as many -if not more- natural enemies within the Republican apparatus as there are within the Democrat group. “America-First” is antithetical to the UniParty.
Again, prior to Donald Trump there was one party in Washington DC, “The UniParty”. President Donald Trump represented a second party, an independent approach toward legislative and economic priority. He was not a third choice, he was the second option.

I tuned into a talk show this morning for a few minutes and Steve Forbes was on.
He was irate about this. He said it is the groundwork for a European-style VAT tax that will tax certain imports. He said it would add thirty cents a gallon to gasoline and that would cause a domino effect to other goods.
And he added if democrats ever regain power, with this framework in place they could crank the rates skyward.
How kind of “republicans” to put this in place for their friends across the aisle.
We may have to march on Washington with pitchforks before all is said
and done.
Just because Trump won doesn’t mean it’s over. The fight, I believe, is just starting.
We’ve got under 2 days left, and my last fear prior to Trump taking office does not appear to have panned out - which was the Republicans in Congress pushing bills that Obama would sign - so as to sabotage Trump (since Congress gets a two week head start on Trump).
So now it will be TRUMP’S KINGDOM - and the Republicans can disobey him at will, and if they do, Trump will fill up 50,000 seat stadiums, for their PRIMARY OPPONENTS!
I am sure Billionaire Steve Forbes feels the pain of my brother-in-law whose manufacturing job was shipped to Mexico. Steve’s stock is doing pretty well, thank you!

We know EXACTLY who the trouble makers are (several of the best funded ran for the nomination).
Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are well exposed and Cornyn has had no clothes for years.
Its’’s not a “Uniparty.” That implies that members of plural parties are joinde. in a common endeavour. That is not. There is the Democrat Party and then there is its junior division which calls itself the Republican Party. They are not the same thing just as General Motors is not the same thing as Chevrolet.
Their friends are not “across the aisle” and they are it their friends. They are their bosses.
Personally I think the USA would thrive behind an iron curtain of tariffs and secure borders.
Steve has been giving advice that no-one listens to for years. He also ran a losing campaign for Trumps new office.
Trump may have to run against some of the GOPe Progressives, maybe effect some big change in GOP leadership in two years.
This is in fact absolutely true if he dare.
