WASHINGTON—Protest organizers seeking to disrupt President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration want to “instill terror in” law enforcement for “violating people’s rights.”
The DisruptJ20 protest coalition hosted a breakout meeting for the organization known as Cop Watch, a group that trains protesters to observe and record law enforcement activity for the purpose of accusing officers of police brutality.
“So we don’t want to cultivate a relationship between us and the police where they respect our rights. We want to instill terror in the police of violating people’s rights. And the best way to make this happen is to allow them to violate our rights and then to hit them back with legal consequences and publicity so that bad things happen to them when they do that,” a trainer from Cop Watch told meeting attendees.

Cop Watch is a one-issue ad hoc RCP group that ropes in naive youngsters, “trains” them to antagonize cops and destroy property, and when these dumb kids get arrested, their RCP trainers mysteriously vanish in the crowds.

That is not what they are. They are the Red Front, and when the Weimar German police could not keep the streets free, the SA arose to do the job for them.
If and when these communists and worse win the battle for the streets, the history of "protests" as guerrilla theater will end the way it always does - with irregular warfare and helicopter rides.

I went through Central Park in the summer of 68 too. Ran into a “ Be in” what ever the heck that was. Looked like the Circus rolled into town. I remember the trash cans had been set ablaze! Insane. I was going to a Military Academy in PA at the time, so I had a buzz cut and had to keep a low profile. I was visiting a summer girlfriend, it was fall in NYC then, when she saw my hair or lack of it, she dumped me. Oh the humanity! Did not go back through the park.
The worst thing that could happen will be if protestors get through the PD. Eventually they will run into people that will stop them and it will hurt a lot.
There is more to it; fear of harm is one thing, this group wants to instill fear in the LEOs of being accused of racism,excess force, ETC. Fear of being the LEO on MSM video or pictures looking bad without any proof or context. Fear of loss of career, that type of fear. BLM has been very good at instilling fear in LEO. BLM riots to get their own way, the politicians are on the side of BLM and other radical groups. Politicians throw LEO under the bus at the drop of a hat.

People don’t let stories scare keep people from the inauguration,because that’s what the left wants us to do just like they wanted us to stay aeay from voting by putting out the fact that Trump was going to lose no matter what with their lying polls. These people like the protest on their college campuses or in left-wing cities where nobody will touch them. I seriously doubt they’re going to try to take on almost a million Trump supporters and five or ten thousand bikers.
