I stood in Grant Park on election night 2008, along with more than 200,000 other people, and watched as a man I’d known as a fellow member of a Chicago church, a man I’d worked to help get elected, took to the stage. He would be the first black president of the United States of America. My joy at the surreal scene was transcendent. The jumbotron flashed the face of the civil rights stalwart the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, with tears streaming down his cheeks, an image that evoked the profound elation of black America at the election of Barack Obama.

Well, Michael, it’s been 8 years and none of us evil white conservatives killed Obama. Know why? Most of us are simply not like that. Politicians are way, way, way more likely to be killed by a liberal, than by a conservative.

The idea of a Joe Biden possibly inheriting the Presidency was the inadvertent security that provided iron-clad protection for Obama.

The other way to look at it was Bush43’s “gravitas” with Cheney accomplished the same thing.

The real reason Obama’s poll numbers are high. It’s not the content of their character but the color of their skin.

JJ was crying because he had wanted that position and that adulation for himself. He genuinely felt hurt that it went to someone in the other wing of the Chicago machine, the Stroger-Beavers-Partee wing.

He doubled the amount of you on food stamps and who knows what other welfare payments. Your employment rates sucked. People went out and bought record numbers of firearms. The Chicago murder rate became a national joke. Race baiting snowflakes emerged who had people shaking their heads. You further divided people thru false accusations against George Zimmerman, Offier Darren Wilson, and the Baltimore Six. You make false heroes out of worthless POS thugs like Thugvon and St Michael and Freddie’s Dead.

You race baited every chance you got, and then some. Everything was “racist”. Any criticism was “racist”. You so obsessed over race you alienated millions of people formerly sympathetic or brainwashed to your “cause”. Millions still live in abject poverty, with no work ethic, no desire to improve themselves or their families, or to obey the law

Like it or not, Dyson, this is Obama’s “legacy”. One which you wholeheartedly walked in goose-step tandem to. Congrats
