Oh this ought to be fun when it hits American shores...

Almost seems like some blacks want to go back to segregation.

I thought "Oriental" was verboten, a micro-agression, not PC. Hells-bells, I just can't keep up with it all.

As usual the ones screaming racism are the real intolerant racists in the conversation.

Well then line the old white professors up against the wall and shoot them since the naked Marxists want their cultural revolution. That is what such revolts look like, kill off the previous (hold out) generation of academics and intellectuals and substitute them with those loyal to the Communist Party.
Worked so well for the Cambodians.

Yes. I want my doctor or dentist or insurance agent or car mechanic to have been schooled at the school of Oriental and African Studies. Who knows what magic is contained in the odd chicken bone or walrus dick powder dosed during incantations of mystical power as a remedy....

Time was California law prohibited Communists from teaching in their schools and the indoctrination of seditious teachings in class. Democrats repealed those laws within the past 10 years.
Figure it out.

OK, let them self-segregate.
No way can we set up “whites only” anything. But we CAN setup “culturally sensitive education,” “allowing” blacks to be in all-black classes/schools and Latinos the same. After all, Whites and Asians can’t POSSIBLY understand what it is like to be a Person of Color. This is already being demanded in schools across the country. I say give in.
Wanna bet the “leftovers” who were not “good enough” for the culturally-sensitive classes and schools improve 500% or more?
Wim-win!

Potentially? Well of course they’re racis’. How else did they attain their positions if it wasn’t off the backs of some black folks somewhere down the line.

Well that explains low grad rates among ethnics, except of course for Booker T. Washington, Frederick Douglas, Ralph Ellison, James Baldwin, Ben Carson, Thomas Sowell, and countless others who managed to learn under racist teachers.

What about a black teacher that has majority white students?
I guess it does not work both ways.

Let’s turn that to “Black students can’t learn from white teachers because the students are potentially racists” and see how it flies.
The majority of so-called academics (people who can’t really DO things of value) being leftists, they have a vested interest of keeping the blacks on the Democrat plantation. It increases their funding.

Like the Black Philly teacher during the Clintoon years who taught her 1st grade Negroes that Egyptian Negroes had wings and could fly until White European males came and cut them off...all in the name of increasing their "self esteem".
No mention of the racial hatred it fostered or the sheer stupidity that cutting off a generation's of (fill in the blank) would result in future generations being born without (fill in the blank).

This reminds me of a story a friend told me. While in a PhD program he substitute taught for extra cash. So, one time he was substitute teaching a math class in Boston for three days. He was given a test to administer, and then he was to grade the tests for the next day’s class. Since almost every student failed the test, he graded them twice, one time using the correct answer, but in a moment of inspiration he graded them a second time redefining the correct answer by which answers were most common. In other words, the most common wrong answer became, de facto, correct. Using this method produced many As and Bs and fewer Ds and Fs, and to the students’ delight these were the grades he gave the class.

Old white academics are 'unable' to teach black students because they're potentially racist
Let us flip that claim around:
Young black academics are 'unable' to teach white and asian students because they're potentially racist"
A lot of liberal heads would pop off it that was a headline.

under-representation of black people among the teaching staff, relative to the student body, made students feel 'isolated', unable to engage with their studies and lecturers. Other possibility, students are too damn dumb to understand the subject.
College is a challenging environment. making you uncomfortable, exposing you, is part of the education process.
