What’s ‘global warming’ got to do with the CIA?
Actually these lefties should be VERY careful if they were shrewd and yet really believed in this stuff... they are nudging Br’er Rabbit towards the briar patch here.
If it IS (and if so, still is) in the CIA bailiwick to look at things that could foment world unrest, then guess what. The warmist fraud is likely somewhere on that list! It causes vast expenditures on vanity, weakening what might otherwise be more robust countries — just what the lefties like.
This inversion of sense could pop back out as the dent the lefties have tried to put in the sense of the world. If they’re shrewd they won’t touch it. But God makes foolish the wisdom of the “wise.”
During the Dubya second term, I was at a conference, working with the National Center for Atmospheric Science.
The are big boys in meteorological modeling. The director was peripherally caught up in climategate.
I was part of the DOD that had contracted with them for modeling. They shopped the idea that they could do “global warming” models for the military. The head of our group told them to forget it, because our bosses did not believe manmade global warming was a problem.
He retired (pretty good guy, if fairly liberal) he was replaced with a *very* liberal guy. I only imagine what has happened to the program in the last four years since I retired...
