I have a caregiver for my grandson who is Cuban, originally from Miami, as is her husband. I cannot even describe to you how much they despise Obama. It makes my hatred pale in comparison.
On the surface, this was a very odd move for Obama to make with only one week left in his presidency. Why not leave a decision like this for the incoming administration to make? Answer: Cubans in Florida strongly supported Trump, possibly costing Hillary the state of Florida, and therefore, the presidency. This is revenge, plain and simple.
BHO is just doing what his buddies - the Castro brothers - want him to do.
Of course he did. Because Cubans are the most conservative of hispanics.
And he only wants unvetted muzzies flooding into this country.
Cubans were not muslim enough for Obama.

Cubans are mostly Catholic and not Muslim. He would not have screwed over Muslims.
Trump should not only reverse this policy but also accept those who are found at sea. Since Cuba has not lived up to the terms of Obama’s agreement, Trump should not be bound by any prior agreement.
Cubans in Florida helped put Trump over the top in the election.
I’m still studying this, we should help the persecuted Cubans when possible, not normalized relations with Cuba.
On the other hand, Veterans held some demonstrations at the border; because foreigners, even Cubans should not be treated better than Am. Vets.

A lot of FReepers still believe that all Cubans are wonderful conservatives. They are not. The polls show that almost half voted for Hillary in FL.

A few people seem hung up on their favorite people and groups—Illegal aliens bad unless they are Cuban; illegal aliens are bad unless coming from communist countries (which means half the world’s population!); liars are bad unless they have last name Cruz; backstabbers are bad unless they have last name Levin; etc. Lyn’ Ted is still a losing, serial, and creepy liar; illegal aliens are ILLEGAL and should be deported; anything less is AMNESTY and not acceptable. NO AMNESTY. Never.
First thing Trump can do is do the same to the Mexicans coming across the border. The Cubans who enter this country illegally are doing the same as the Mexicans, except they can claim political refugee status. Problem is, the Castrate boys are doing the very same thing the Grease ball Mexican government is doing, only in a different way...getting rid of the unwanted. You Cubans need to man up and revolt! And just why should they be treated any differently that any other illegal entrants to this country? Yeah, I know Cuba is a $hit hole, but so is Mexico and it’s just about as Communist as is Cuba. We need to end the Castro Regime in Cuba so the Cuban People can stay home. And we should help the Mexican People send the White Spaniards that run their country back to Spain. Both Mexico and Cuba could be wonderful countries, but whether they are or not, their disaffected people don’t have a right to sneak into the United States.
Last time I checked, a citizen could say the president of Mexico is an idiot without disappearing.

I DO agree that Cuba getting rid of communism and in Mexico, just blatant high crimes by every leader being done away with, would be great.
Also, Mexicans aren’t going to be jailed when they return to Mexico. Or worse, or Cubans.
