Esteban Santiago, an Iraq war veteran who for reasons still unclear shot more than a dozen random travelers in an airport 5,000 miles from his Alaska home, lived just three blocks from a popular Veterans of Foreign Wars hangout. He never visited.
Santiago spent two years in Alaska, working as a security guard and National Guardsman... he didn’t make much of a mark— except with law enforcement from a string of domestic disputes with his girlfriend and mother of his infant son. But, increasingly, his life was falling apart.
Last January, he was arrested after roughing up his girlfriend, accused of trying to strangle her. In August, the National Guard booted him for “unsatisfactory performance” and unexplained absences. In November, he entered the FBI office reporting hearing voices in his head ordering him to watch ISIS videos, a confession that sent him to a state-run mental health center, but only for a short stay. -snip-
Federal investigators say they have found nothing on his computer or social media feeds to suggest any links to Muslim extremists and they have dismissed an unsubstantiated Internet narrative that Esteban had converted to the religion as a teen and had secretly become a radicalized terrorist.
His years in Anchorage also remain murky — including why Santiago, who grew up in sunny Puerto Rico, chose to move to Anchorage, a city with freezing temperatures and long hours of darkness in the winter. His girlfriend has refused numerous requests for interviews and has avoided cameras — ...
After an initial press conference on Saturday, local police, prosecutors and the FBI have largely refused further comment. The National Guard and Veteran Administration also clammed up on any interactions with Santiago. -snip-

Authorities waited for five days, until they were legally forced to provide the name of the final victim who died 1PM Friday.
The hold-out name of the 5th victim is Mary Louise Amzibel (69). Her husband, Edward J Amzibel, is a victim of the shooter as well. The authorities wrongly stated she is from Ohio.
But the Amzibels actually live in Dover, Delaware. Secondary addresses showing in Maryland. Everyone travels through airports with driver's licenses and they were purportedly leaded for an Amazon cruise. It's just another oddity about the coverage of this shooting rampage.
The left today seems to think background facts and explanations are excuses. If you fall into one of their protected class demographics.
Same thing withthe four racist blacks torturing the white disabled kid. Don Lemon sits there and talks about their troubled upbringing. If it happened in reverse there would not be the same apologetics from the left, the whiteys would be racist and screw whatever troubled upbringing they had.

Many signs point to the FBI dropping the ball on this one. But now, the FBI is doing a full investigation. Something does not smell right about the FBI being both potentially culpable and doing the investigation.
All they had to do was look at his MySpace page.

This Miami Herald article is “FAKE” news to cover that this islam convert was squarely ISIS , posed with his picture giving the ISIS Allah Salute and was a terrorist set out to kill people is a religious war. It does make perfect sense that as Sharia inspired , he beat his wife to a pulp— they all do. He was going to Time Square. He became convinced he could not get through security there , realized that baggage check was a vulnerable area to kill infidels and switched his ticket. You will be blocked from hearing him at his trial. He will be screaming Allah Ackhbar!!
