There was a news story on a few weeks back leading up to Christmas that they couldn’t keep up with DEMAND for their classic rubber boots.
It’s a privately held company. This boycott is as silly as we Conservatives boycotting Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. We wouldn’t buy it on a bet in the FIRST place, so L.L. Bean isn’t going to lose any business over this, because those Leftys are amazing ZEALOTS about NOT spending their money on things that, ‘hurt dare widdow feewings’ already. :)
So what. Starbucks would go out of business if they boycotted them for just a week.

I would counter-boycott a liberal store but I already don’t shop at those.
Products sold by LLBean are extremely durable. An umbrella purchased over 25 years ago is still in great shape. A barn coat purchased almost 10 years ago looks new. All their stuff is awesome. The upfront cost is more than comparable knock-offs, but LLBean’s products are built to last. You can buy with confidence when buying any of LLBean’s products.
