Rudy Giuliani has found his place in the Trump administration.
The former New York City mayor will be advising President-elect Donald Trump on cyber security issues, the presidential transition team announced Thursday.
Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be sharing his expertise and insight as a trusted friend concerning private sector cyber security problems and emerging solutions developing in the private sector, the Trump team said in a press release.
The soon-to-be president also plans to meet with corporate executives to understand their cyber challenges as well as those that face the US government.

Low profile?
Yeah Rudy!!!
My wife, daughter and I, blocked out the entire day to watch, pray, sing, drink, laugh, enjoy the schadenfreude when we see slick willy and his bitch, the halfrican and his husband with their two spoiled brats, my ex-President, GWB, that disappointed so many of us, and our last great hope...DJT and crew.
I will be home celebrating, some Trump Cigars, some top shelf Adult beverages. Later a fine steak dinner. Can’t wait!
Yea. I had not known it but Rudy been working the cybersecurity for a while now (think 16 years)..they interview him last week on Fox business at CES about it
I’m waiting for him to name Newt as his fake news attack dog enforcer.
“..I dont believe he needs Senate Approval for this position.”
I think you are right. A great way to set Guliani up on the team without the Senate RATS causing their normal troublemaking and grandstanding. Hope we are right on that.
Glad to see Rudy get a gig with the Trump Admin. This job title will let him utilize his well-known prosecutorial skills and keep him with 1st tier access to President Trump.
A very good move all around!
“I realized that a lot of our neighbors have their flags up, more than usual.”
I plan to put up our flag next Friday. First time in eight years.

THIS is how you play Chess.
The Bush Family would spend 6 months debating it and then pick whoever McCain wanted.
Trump = Chess
Bush = Tick-Tac-Toe
Need a thread for remarks on inauguration day
Somebody famous (in FR) should start one.
What part of “completely different field” don’t you get?
There’s nothing about information security in the entire Giuliani & Partners portfolio.
Good move! Until Trump fires the top scum in the CIA/NSAFBI and homeland security, Rudy will be identifying the lies put out by the above and pushed on ABCNNBCBS/NySlimes/Compost/LaRazaLA slimes.
Intel chief calls Trump to disavow leaks
The nation’s top intel chief called President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday to personally deny leaking to the media a dubious dossier of allegations about sensitive information the Russians supposedly had about him.
Trump confirmed Thursday that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper spoke to him by phone, apparently sometime after a press conference in which Trump lashed out at media outlets, including Buzzfeed and CNN, that ran with the story and speculated it was leaked by federal officials.
“James Clapper called me yesterday to denounce the false and fictitious report that was illegally circulated,” Trump tweeted. “Made up, phony facts.Too bad!”

“intelligence gathering”
BTW, I’m not arguing.
I’m not saying you’re wrong.
Good point.
Granted, most of an executive position like this is picking subordinates and keeping them delivering. Which doesn’t always require technical knowledge.
Still, it does seem odd.
“I plan to put up our flag next Friday. First time in eight years.”
I have been flying my flag since Trump won the first time since the Islamic Jihadist won 8 years ago, (except during the monsoon we have had the past week and wind to 40+mph!)
